In most religions there are hundreds or even millions of gods that are basically just forms of life more intelligent, more powerful or much longer-lived than humans. Like Greek and Roman 'mythologies'. Those would also classify as deities, just simply not of the Abrahamic variety. Though polytheists might consider Abrahamic angels "deities".

We are all human and make mistakes. I make mistakes daily. The only problem that I had was being told what I was supposed to be thinking (though not directly). Obviously I said things here that I would never say in person, it's the nature of the beast that is the internet. A sense of humanity is lost here and I apologise.
The only thing to take away from this is atheists can be moral without religion & we do care as we feel this is our only chance to enjoy an existence.

In most religions there are hundreds or even millions of gods that are basically just forms of life more intelligent, more powerful or much longer-lived than humans. Like Greek and Roman 'mythologies'. Those would also classify as deities, just simply not of the Abrahamic variety. Though polytheists might consider Abrahamic angels "deities".

@Flash13Magic No, for a being to create something not existing prior it must freely choose to create it. I've already explain the error in your composition statement. Also, there is no evidence for such a claim, even if it were a physical law, not a metaphysical claim. Not all claims of composite are invalid. There are very narrow list of statements that go into the composition fallacy. Wish you well - good luck. I'm surprised at atheists must deny so much logic to hold their view.

@Flash13Magic I believe you think the Kalam Argument (casual) argument is a composition fallacy, correct?This is a very common mistake thinking of the Law of Causality as a physical law. It is a metaphysical law that states 'being only comes from being.' Is it not very logical? Non-being has no properties, no potentiality, no powers, etc. Non-being producing being is worse than magic. So, it certainly appears to the universe. Science requires the cause and effect principle to be valid and true.

@Flash13Magic For the universe to bounce from contracting and expanding, cosmologists state the inflation of the universe requires more tuning than the current fine-tuning of our universe, namely 1/10^123. I believe the odds are 10^500. Logic is superior to science - don't forget. Your ad hominem attacks only verify the weakness of your arguments. I've never meet an athiest who does not use them. And, I don't talk with such people.

@Flash13Magic Whatever SCIENCE might find must be logical. here are far more brilliant Christian scientists than atheists that believe God created the universe like Newton. I did not attack science. I merely state the truth that logic is superior to science. Sure science can be weird but it is logical. And, the only logical option is God. The options of universe from nothing and always existing is illogical. Theists don't know the physics of the cause you cannot infer they do not know the cause.

Therefore, vast majority are NOW theists. If you were using that to support your atheism, shouldn't you be a theist now??? Think logically. I'm an engineer and physicist. I'm a Catholic. Before I was stating the VAST majority of top scientists were Christians.

Second, my poll proved you were dishonest in claiming 'the higher ups' were more atheists. I've spoken with 50+ atheists. They are all (except 1) dishonest, illogical, angry, hateful, rude,etc. This is very telling into someone's character. Without knowing and praying, humans have characters of atheists
