Wow that's really great! I ran into this looking for something else and I must SAY your AWSOME brings back memories. I realized you may be able to help me find what I am looking for though, OKAY not sure if anyone will have a clue but years ago I heard TWO songs first men or a man sang a song about a wayward cowgirl then the Woman wrote and sang a song back to him about wayward or bad or something cowboys if you know what I am talking about please let me know very old before 60's I would think
I'm wondering if you might be thinking of the song Hank Thompson recorded called "The Wild Side of Life" which had the words "I Didn't know God made Honky Tonk Angels". Kitty Wells then wrote a song in 1952 as an answer to that, called "It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels." Hope this helps.
