The ladder 49 movie hits home for me because I am a firefighter and not only because I'm a firefighter but because I know what it takes to do what they did in the video. He thinks it's wonderful that he has a chance to grow up & become a fireman. thank all who care. im a junior ff now cuz im only 17 but ive seen some brutal things. seen a few of my closest friends die and if it were ever me dieing in a fire i would rather die in a fire than to stand by and watch a man burn. three weeks ago we had a 8 building complex fully ingulfed and a hose crew on floor 4 got trapped myself and a crew were on 3. our chief lost contact with them and finally made the discesion to pull all out of the building,thing the worst.

Just recently the Buffalo Fire department lost two of their brothers in a simular circumstance. they walked into a burning building to serch for victims and fell through the floor to the basement.
