  • Nice wr bro I jus got me a wr250r as well I want to add some mods but I'm not sure where to start if I take off that door flapper on the intake is there anything else I should add?

  • @cruiser80513 thank you for watching, after taking off the flapper then maybe you shuld try unhook the EXUP wire. If you don't like then its easy to hook it back.

  • so what type of thing can u remove if uou are leaving the stock ecxaust ?

  • Good Job on modifications, congrats!!

  • it goes here and does ummm i dont know it went on her and went here

  • @poohedlol thats funny shit bro lol

  • what the different between a wr250R and a wr250X ?

  • @ThePinkRanger100 wr250x is the road version of the wr250r has 17" rims and slightly different gearing and bigger front brake

  • @marhanen thx man !!

  • @ThePinkRanger100 I think the R has an aluminum frame, while the X has a steel one. The rims and tires are also different... I think that's about it.

  • @SinnNorth thxs man !

  • hi!...how do you set the FMF Power Programmer?...it must remove airbox?...thanks!

  • "And this is some kind of system...I don't know, I took it off." HAHA! Oh well, sweet bike! The WR250s are nice.

  • Wow, she looks much better now! Especially the exhaust! Super! Is it relieable?

  • @TheBlackHabit Thank you for watching my video. The exhast works very well but if you can buy FMF or other factory exhoust at shop, then I offer you to buy those.

  • Awesome video!

  • i am looking to buy a wr250r and i was wondering how it handles on the jumps and the rhythm sections on a course. I also wanna know if it has enough speed to drive down the highway with out holding the throttle to the pin.

  • The R is a very rare type of WR. There is a very limited amount of them compared to F's. And obviously YZ's are plentiful too. The main difference with the R, is it has lower performance, which in turn gives better reliability and economy. Lower performance is a SPECIFIC design spec of the R. Buying one, and then trying to make it faster, is like buying 0.5kg weight from a weight shop, then doing a video about how to drill it out, and fill with lead, to produce a 1kg weight.

  • @steviezxr While that is true, it still must be said that these mods also make the bike much smoother and nicer to ride, not just more powerful.

  • how much was the yz 250f exhaust?

  • @somogyi95 It ws used parts. I payed 10000yen for it. Thats around $100 US doller I think.

  • why didn't you just buy a yz250?

  • @bergee007 YZ250 is a motocross racing bike. I thought about to buy WR250F but I chose WR250R because durability and security, plus EFI was attractive to me.

  • Where did you get the rear sprocket at? I can only find a 45. Please reply.

  • @bw72472 I just checked mine and its written "11304-46 AFAM"

    would it help?

  • @bubba3ld I was just wondering where you bought it at. Used? New? My husband wants to do the same to his bike, but we cant seem to find where to get it.

  • very cool...i just bought a new 2009 250x,its stock now but not for long..thanks dude

  • @dennis6868 thats cool you have got one! ride safe:)

  • @bubba3ld i got 2008 250x.. thinkin of same modifiing and instaling on 290 kit and leovince exhaust... how much did your bike improved from stock to this stage? in feeling, horsepower, more linear accelerating? harder through all rpm? etc..

  • Thanks for the info, I'll keep my eyes open for the muffler.

  • Bubba, how much does the stock YZ exhaust and footpegs cost? Im in Okinawa and wouldn't mind trying the same thing.

  • ok, it cost 11000yen for foot pegs and you can order from yamaha dealers. I m using 2009 yz250f pegs.

The muffler, its cheaper to buy FMF or other aftermarket stuff if you want new one, but if you are in Japan, Im sure you can find used YZF muffler by yahoo auction. Good luck!

  • Hello, nice job :-) What did you do with the control unit, do not report to any mistakes? Thanks

  • Thank You

You provide a great service to us all.

  • Thank you! Im glad to hear that.

  • Hey man, Ive got a 08 WR250R and Im thinking about trying the 12/46 gearing. How is that gearing on/off road? Im just worried that if I make the change that the bike will no longer have the speed to ride short distances on the freeway.

  • The gearing works great for offroad riding and it doesn't bother me for riding place to place by going around 55mph. That only if it's short distance. If you don't like it then simply you can change the front gear back to 13 without change the chain linkage. Good luck to you!!

  • Hey on the airbox ,all you have to do is remove the vacume line and plug it with something.

  • You mean for remove the AI thing? Yes, just plug the hole.

  • I meant instead of taking out the air control box ,just pull the vacume line off and the flap wont shut.

  • oh yes thats right sir. that would do too but it wasn't enough to me so I took them all off. I even drilled the hole on side of the box.

But just unplug the hose is the easyest and don't have to break anything.

  • Your funny Mr. Bubba I would do the same thing you did .BUT, I'm in california and you never know if the police might check, they havn't so far, but i would rather be safe : )

  • You are absolutely right :)

  • I have the same bike with all the same mods (removed california edition emission controls). I have the FMF Powercore4 silencer and FMF PowerBomb header as well. This thing is such a kick ass bike on and off road. Just got my first speeding ticket after over a year of riding it around and the cop never said a word about my aftermarket parts. I'm not saying everyone will be as lucky.

  • Sorry to hear that you got ticket. I saw your vid. Your bike looks great. Ride safe:)

  • The first thing you pick up is the exhaust, what was next? you said something like you dislocate the ? i couldnt understand

  • EXUP system

  • How does it ride now? How far off is your speedometer?

  • Runs much better! more power on mid to high range. Speedometer is pritty off now but I never checked. I only check the clock on the meter :D

  • dude ur an idiot u dont even know what u put on ur bike.

  • Maybe he knows like the parts on in Japanese are called, I hope it for him...

  • california ia real stricket, it sucks

  • is that legal in california lol, no seriously

  • I just do it without thinking! lol

  • It should be.

  • How hard was it to put the yz250f silencer on? You told that you had to cut some things off the exhaust & that's it? Does the yzf silencer give any better performance? thanks! nice vid, 5 stars!

  • Thanks for the rating.

I had some one to heat it up and bend, cut one place and welded back together.

The only reason I used this silencer was because it was cheap for me to buy.

    Sure this silencer works good.

  • Nicely done! The bottom portion of hoses you took off was the AIS, which is part of your pollution control. I noticed you also took off what looks to be something off the crank case?
