You talk of Codes, which i understand as an equivalent of the concept of Laws, a universal which determine the existences of specifics, singular regularities. And i think u are Nietzscheen, if im correct. My question is what is the mod of existence of these laws? They must be immanent to the system itself, since there is nothing outside the singularity and its expension. So the Code, that determine the expension itself, must be it's singular iterations, not a universal principle.
@KingKarnivore Where im going whit this is that if a system is his own foundation then that implies indeterminancy in iteration. Now doesn't indeterminancy hurt's the nietzscheen
eternal return theory? Sorry if my question is not clear, i didnt have the time to watch the whole thing.
I'm not sure if you answered this in the video or not because i got lost. But are you saying by recursion that when the universe reaches it's 'peak' then moves backwards through time to its quantum singularity that it then starts all over again with the big bang and repeats itself recurring life that has already happened or will it be completely different? when you think of that it could be possible that what we are doing now has been repeated 100's or maybe hundreds of thousands of times?
I can think of 1 thing that limits this emergence. When you simulate for long enough, some sections are going to break off. Host universe enters big rip, can no longer simulate it's own universes and any such created universes are destroyed. Because there is an infinite amount of universes, there is an infinite chance of a host universe breaking a line, the fact that we exist suggests that we aren't infact simulated.
You basically saying that the human brain can be run by zeroes and ones so that it seems like it runs by 1s, .5s, and 0s but really its all controlled by zeroes and 1s.
They think the brain ( because you rely heavily on computer code to create your arguments) works on synapses that have 'memory' of what sorts of signals they previously sent, not only 1s and zeroes, but how loud each and surrounding synapses fired, and this affects future firings because it does so by changing the resistance property of each synapse. So run human recquires a whole different type of computing than your used too outside of fuzzy logic.
Secondly, in a big crunch, the amount of increase in space expanding would be decreasing. Would have been since the beginning of the big bang. Occupy space never increases or decreases, it just flat out hits the wall.
The Occupy space method doesn't account for inflation, an increasing rate of expansion, etc. And the idea of a memory limit is something we can't define, to us it's not a variable we can see, measure or whatever: until we hit it. Therefore, occam's razor it does not exist. There's no reason to suggest it could other than we might be AI simulated.
You said you side with the scientists who said there will be a big crunch. DON'T YOU KNOW IT'S CURRENTLY FASHIONABLE TO SAY IT'S A BIG RIP? Seriously though, you should know that they found there is too little mass to make energy and everything recollapse into a singularity. There is even an energy pervading the universe increasing the rate of expansion.
This all goes into weak anthropic principle, eg too much mass and the universe never was, too little and it's too dispersed but what ever.
Would such an emergent code be capable of creating anomalies? My mind struggles with the concept of something happening outside the boundaries of its laws.
If an atom is meant to behave in only a certain way then, to me, there must be something wrong with our understanding rather than it be an anomaly. There must be a hidden pattern or something.
But quantum physics states otherwise and I'm too young and inexperienced to say otherwise so I'll assume anomalies are real. But are they theoretic
This is what Iver believed for the last year or so. Start as nothing, have the big bang because of the quantum physics laws, expand until the universe collapses on it self and disappear. Repeat. Great vid
This guy's voice is fucking annoying as fuck. I like what he's trying to say, but I can't get more than 5 minutes through a video before my ears start bleeding. MONOTONE MUCH? It's called inflection bruh. Try it sometime.
Something you didn't really say in the video but yet probably think it is that when you were talking about the many universes and in a series you didn't say that these creations of multiple universes can be shown as a sort of family tree. For example each intelligent species could create there own universes through recursion and create recursive trees and would have more and more universes down each level of the tree maybe.
Is it possible for the universe to expand so much that it would just pop like a baloon? And that "nothingness" would just become a part of our universe is that possible? And what do you think is at the end of the universe or what is the end? How can it be defined? How would it look like? What stops the universe to expand and expand? And is it possible to stop the expansion of the universe?
And if the universe was programed to grow as much as possible, those who did it have to be in that space.
one thing i never understood is why there has to be a big crunch, everything moves because there was a force exerted to it, why the universe expands is because of the big bang which was a huge explosion that propelled everything from the center of the universe.... but what force is exerted on the universe for the big crunch to occur.
@jtrigoura1 Weight, weight is the force that mass exerts, this force causes the phenomena of gravity, (as gravity is not a force), and I believe that it is this force which attracts everything together to be the reason behind the big crunch.
@Chorkly and i think you'll find i have weight is mass x gravity. Weight is also a force but it is the force you exert due to Gravity. Gravity is 9.81N and as Newtons is a measure for forces I think you'll find it is
@Herosmurf Sorry I got mixed up, Mass is the force and gravity is the phenomena (a by product of said force), weight is a product of gravity, however there is no gravity without mass making mass the creator of gravity, because of the we can say that mass is the force and gravity is a by product (phenomena) of said force.
@Chorkly gravity is the force exerted by the mass as everything has a gravitational field. Mass is not a force. Weight is given as mass x gravity as the force of gravity pulls objects towards the centre of gravity of an object. Gravity is a phenomenon however that is not a scientific term exactly and it can hardly be classified as one. Gravity is a force as it moves objects
@Herosmurf As I said prior, clearly you don't, nor have ever studied mechanics, I had a look at you account and clearly your roughly 14-16 and possess a certain degree of intelligence, however you have only repeated to me GCSE level physics and as such I am lead to believe you possess an incomplete knowledge of the subject, I'm purely trying to convey a scientific theory widely regarded as truth and taken as fact in all English exam boards, so please investigate the subject before replying.
@Chorkly Wait Mass exerts force in the form of gravity? From what my mediocre 14 year old brain can conclude force is an expression of energy. Therefore if gravity is energy we can apply everything about mass into gravity? Side Question - If mass exerts energy in the form of gravity and all mass seemingly has an infinite "supply" of energy but that wouldn't make sense because that would mean the universe has an infinite amount of energy which is false...right? Maybe you can explain..?
@SympackLaboratories I think I can explain both questions by saying that gravity is a phenomena because it does not use energy, if you apply this to your questions I think you will be able to make sense of it.
@Chorkly I study A Level Mechanics 'Gravitation, or gravity, is a natural phenomenon by which physical bodies attract with a force proportional to their mass.' That's from Wikipedia which you told me to go on.
@Herosmurf And there you go, the physical bodies attract with a force, making them the creator of said force, however thank you for investigating it, if I had to equate it to an example, it would be like a stick hitting something, where momentum would be the force not the stick itself and where momentum is mass and the stick is gravity, Im sure your teachers can clarify if you ask them.
@Chorkly no but haven't you realised you've got it backwards. The physical bodies are the crators of the force, that is where you're right. But the force they exert is gravity. Mass is not a force. The only circumstances where gravity might not be considered so much as a force is if you're looking at Einstein's ideas. Gravity is then enacted through the curvature of space. If we're looking at it from Newton's perspective then Gravity is the force exerted by objects to one another.
@Herosmurf I'm actually looking at it through Verlinde's perspective. I'm also using the curvature of space-time as evidence (however I have not stated such prior). Also I don't really regard Newton with much relevance towards gravity as a phenomena because his theories are outdated (due to progression). Verlinde goes the next step forward is by arguing for a definite mechanism behind gravity: differences in entropy. As difference in entropy is not a force than the same goes for gravity.

Hey Jesus, if you have a chance before you leave, I suggest watching A Universe From Nothing by Lawrence Krauss. A very interesting presentation in which he mathematically backs up why he believes the universe is expanding indefinitely and exponentially, among other topics.
I think Hawking used the analogy of the spherical Earth in his explanation of the 'Big Bounce', essentially stating that we started on the North Pole and ended on the South Pole. In regards to your theory, I do consider exponential growth or recursion to be a fundamental aspect of the universe, but I don't think I need the computer science concept of recursion to help explain that personally. Interesting hypothesis though.
I don't think that if we are unable to create a universe (HS(n+1)) that we are not simply just a simulated creation by the the universe before us (HS(n-1)) because, as you said, each society would not be able to perfectly replicate themselves and eventually the quality degrades. If we are unable to create HS(n+1), then maybe that is because we are simply the last link in the chain because the previous HSx were not able to create us properly.
Would it not make sense to say that, in the HSx example, we are the last society in the chain right now because, at this point, we are unable to simulate ourselves in memory on the scale that would require for the next link in the chain to be formed?
My family happens to belong to a religious faith. A few months ago, I began to "stray from the path" and investigate into my view of the world. Organized Religion simply did not fit into my view but I did not know how to formulate my ideas coherently. Your videos explained some of the topics I was blindly wading through and introduced me to new ideas. Your videos helped me a lot. Thanks for your time and effort Jesus. It's been a fun ride.
the best analogy to your big bounce would be the accuracy when sniping in call of duty. given that the starting point is the QS (quickscope aka fully zoomed in) and the opposite of that is the noscope, you named it AS. now when in call of duty, you stop holding down the ads button, you zoom out, which is the same as the big bang. as soon as you are fully zoomed out, you start pushing the ads key and you zoom in. Call of duty basically tried to illustrate the big bounce with quickscoping. fact
Sorry if I dont word this correctly, kinda tired but.
The growing of the planet, Is it just growing in size for this? Or growing with age, because if its growing with age, you could say life is therefore recursive? thus bringing in the theory that when you die, you become something else in an after-life.. back to the youngest you could be, to grow the oldest, to loop life? Just a random thought..

Hey Jesus, if you have a chance before you leave, I suggest watching A Universe From Nothing by Lawrence Krauss. A very interesting presentation in which he mathematically backs up why he believes the universe is expanding indefinitely and exponentially, among other topics.

Jesus you've lost your hair. One of two things could have happened, 1. You had it cut or 2. You've developed cancer and not mentioned it

I hope you find an answer in Arizona, Jesus.

As a listener of Tool, you probably already know about the time signatures in the song Lateralus. Just thought i should throw it out there.

the best analogy to your big bounce would be the accuracy when sniping in call of duty. given that the starting point is the QS (quickscope aka fully zoomed in) and the opposite of that is the noscope, you named it AS. now when in call of duty, you stop holding down the ads button, you zoom out, which is the same as the big bang. as soon as you are fully zoomed out, you start pushing the ads key and you zoom in. Call of duty basically tried to illustrate the big bounce with quickscoping. fact

why would you name the quantum singularity quickscope? :O
