Fred has a good group and some lovly songs. .. I just feel his group is better than he is. He does great until he puts the mike to close to his mouth then the words are hard to understand. But needless to say these songs touch my spirit in a positive way
I'm sorry if I sounded a bit too critical of him. I just feel if the ministry is through music then all words need to be plain enough to understand. While I do love the songs and was spiritually blessed by them some of his words weren't coming out clearly. It might just be the recording which is quite possible especially if it was done at a live event by someone without professional equipment for the sound. But when Fred would get excited which I love to see people getting excited for Jesus.
The words were not so clear. Which takes away from the meaning of the song. So once again please forgive me for being too critical I do know I shouldn't be that way. They really aren't that expensive, if you need to wait until you get your paycheck... than maybe you need to start your own business and stop working for those who make more than you. We have to use our talents and gifts in ways that can benefit ourselves, so we aren't sitting around waiting for our paychecks.
i do own my own business, but even then you still work for somebody (customers) the contracts might be signed, the job may be completed, but you still have to wait to get paid sometimes. I usually give them a week after all work is finished, that way they can look it over and make sure everything is A-ok, because after I get that final paycheck, anything after that is another contract and another bundle of money, and they know that upfront, so they try to squeeze every penny to death.

This is a dry place. Yes I pray just as we pray together, but the bills are still due and that voice that say's Gods not listening to you tries to yell in my ear. Yes many tears and sleepless nights have passed In our dry place. We choose to press into prayer. No we don't have people we can ask for help. Our lives has been spent helping others and I know they don't have money to help us.
It has been our experience that God has always provided for our needs. To make a long story short I wrote a check for the last little bit of money that we had in the bank and still have not found jobs here. How mortgage, food, bills, car repairs, or anything else is going to get paid I don't know.
This is a very shallow example but I hope you can draw the meaning out of it. Find those things that are good in your world and thank God for them. Let me share what I mean. My wife and I moved to Georgia in the hopes of a better life. We left all that was familiar in California. We believed that God had opened doors for us to come.
At the time I had to be careful of what I allowed my mind to meditate on. And I still have to. For example let's say some one hit my new car and I had to pay a $500 dollar deductable. I could allow the little voice that whispers in my ear the reminder of how this kind of thing always happens to me, and how I guess I was never meant to have anything good etc. Or I can rebuke the devil at the moment that voice speaks to me. I don't know what God is doing in my life, but almost everywhere I turn is another reason for me to just give up. I have even began questioning the Lord being able to deliver me. I am strugglin. I have been a Fred fan for years because his lyrics, voice and arrangements are God given. In my opinion MOST of gospel artists have lost their way because they try to imitate the 'world'. Fred has never tried to give us secular warmed up left overs.

I'm sorry if I sounded a bit too critical of him. I just feel if the ministry is through music then all words need to be plain enough to understand. While I do love the songs and was spiritually blessed by them some of his words weren't coming out clearly. It might just be the recording which is quite possible especially if it was done at a live event by someone without professional equipment for the sound. But when Fred would get excited which I love to see people getting excited for Jesus.

They really aren't that expensive, if you need to wait until you get your paycheck... than maybe you need to start your own business and stop working for those who make more than you. We have to use our talents and gifts in ways that can benefit ourselves, so we aren't sitting around waiting for our paychecks.

i do own my own business, but even then you still work for somebody (customers) the contracts might be signed, the job may be completed, but you still have to wait to get paid sometimes. I usually give them a week after all work is finished, that way they can look it over and make sure everything is A-ok, because after I get that final paycheck, anything after that is another contract and another bundle of money, and they know that upfront, so they try to squeeze every penny to death.

If I said that he was a 'GOOD' person would you say don't judge? I heard him on an interview say that whatever he did was gonna be a 0 or a 10. That tells me that he let his marriage go to a zero so he could be a 10 on the billboard. I'd rather see someone eat rice and beans and keep his vows to his wife than try to 'bless' the world with a bunch of songs, and choirs, and renig on his vows (till death do us part). Plus, God doesn't stay with folks regardless of what they do. (Korah, Judas, etc)

The last time I checked... it takes two people to keep a marriage going. Don't be so narrow in your view, that you can't see the fact that marriages take two people to keep it going. This is a dry place. Yes I pray just as we pray together, but the bills are still due and that voice that say's Gods not listening to you tries to yell in my ear. Yes many tears and sleepless nights have passed In our dry place. We choose to press into prayer. No we don't have people we can ask for help. Our lives has been spent helping others and I know they don't have money to help us.

It has been our experience that God has always provided for our needs. To make a long story short I wrote a check for the last little bit of money that we had in the bank and still have not found jobs here. How mortgage, food, bills, car repairs, or anything else is going to get paid I don't know.

At the time I had to be careful of what I allowed my mind to meditate on. And I still have to. For example let's say some one hit my new car and I had to pay a $500 dollar deductable. I could allow the little voice that whispers in my ear the reminder of how this kind of thing always happens to me, and how I guess I was never meant to have anything good etc. Or I can rebuke the devil at the moment that voice speaks to me. Hey, can some of you guys pray for me. I am a believer, but have been in a dry and depressed season for over a year now. I don't know what God is doing in my life, but almost everywhere I turn is another reason for me to just give up. I have even began questioning the Lord being able to deliver me. I am strugglin. Well from my life experience...living for anything but God really isn't worth it. Even when I'm not happy with my life or how life is going...just taking a look at myself as He sees me is uplifting. Once you come into the knowledge of Christ, God the Father only sees you through the blood of His Son...Holy and acceptable. Then he gives us the grace and strength to change what we don't like about our lives

I have been a Fred fan for years because his lyrics, voice and arrangements are God given. In my opinion MOST of gospel artists have lost their way because they try to imitate the 'world'. Fred has never tried to give us secular warmed up left overs.
