Where I live, I go past tons of female corpses with bites all over them and all their feathers plucked off, sometimes with males still attached. Once a female duck was chased into my garden, and I managed to keep all the male ducks out. Nature is extremely cruel

None of these are wild ducks. They are all domestics. The ones which look like wild mallards are a breed called a Rouen. The bird which is being attacked is a breed called a Swedish Blue and is a drake, not a hen. There are two other Swedish drakes seen in one scene, but niether are attacking.

Obviously you've never owned any Mallard Ducks then. This is all natural behavior whether it's someone's pet or a wild Mallard. I've owned 17 Mallard Ducks and I will tell you when you have them in mating season, the males will gang rape the females. I had one female that was soo bad that she had no hair on her head and her neck was all bloody. She died a few days later because the males just kept raping her every chance they got. This goes on in the wild all the time. You can't stop it.
