That looks great! I seen that sit-on-top one right next to the Quest Kayak I bought. They are both only $99.99 and I hope Quest from Dick's Sporting goods is as tough as that Coleman.
Haha, this is pretty cool. I am considering buying one of these as I have nowhere to store a regular sized kayak, and rental prices are pretty high (especially to go every weekend) but I'm not sure if it's a bad call. Have you tried any of the more expensive inflatable kayaks? I'd be curious as to how much better they handle than these, as the Coleman inflatables seem to be essentially a raft with little to no handling. Also, is it difficult to use a two seater by yourself?
Yea the other kayak in the video is an advanced element. The difference is like day and night. while mine feels like a raft, the element actually handles more like a kayak. The one we use has that $90 keel thing that you have to buy extra but that is worth the money. Plus the element is less prone to leaks, will last many more trips and what else can i say. Pay more and you get more.
FYI I took it to lake pleasant, AZ which is just a stillwater manmade lake and got a hole in it while in the center of the lake. thank god I took the pump with me or id be who knows where. these things are unsafe.
Really? Did you watch the video? It was horrible. I am glad you said something, somebody should call the company because they are unsafe! That man in the Colman is silly!
Well I am certainly silly. Just got back from my first trip for this summer and it was great! The video you don't see is when that water level was so low we have to shimmy across the rocks using the paddles as poles to push us forward. It must be hit or miss. My raft has holes in the top where the cup holder seam failed and a couple on the bottom that I repaired. I guess the bottom line is you get what you pay for.

Looks awesome! Can't wait to give it a try. I thought maybe taking my Coleman over some rapids...tell me, does it leak easily?
