So sorry i might seem like a noob. Im a freshly dinged hunter and i dont get this focus "spellname" stuff? If you are already targeting the guy u want to scatter shot, why use macro for it? I never get this focus macro stuff..

@FifaHolics focus macros are used so you can keep your current target but still hit a focus. i.e. you focus a healer, and you are burning a dps. with a focus macro, you can scatter shot him with untargeting the dps, so you can quickly resume DPS and try to score a kill. it saves time and confusion

that works 2 insted of targeting the totem ... providing your pet has a target ... if not you can set it to focus target if that is going to be the healer :) ... but great cid and thanks

@axelolwe Yes, that's what Focus macros are amazingly helpful for, so it saves time since you don't have to target the healer.

Good video overall but you were wrong on the best way to eat a grounding totems atleast in my opinion. Just keybind growl (pet taunt) and casting that eats grounding totems.

@LordKlutched It's highly unreliable as your pet will typically be DPS'ing your kill target, which is often far away from the shaman (where the totem will be placed). Grounding has a 30 yard range, if you notice in the clip I used as an example, our kill target was well out of the Grounding range, so if my pet was on the target and growled, it would not have killed the totem anyway.

Treat Growl as a luxury when it is in range, but don't depend on it :)

Those are actually the default Blizzard raid frames on the right side of his screen. You have the option to use these in arenas if you like them!

It's noted over on Skill Capped, but just so we avoid most of the trolls, Growl will eat Grounding Totem.

"One thing I didn't add because I was misinformed during the time I wasn't playing my hunter, is that Growl still eliminates Grounding Totems. Here's a macro for that (thanks for the heads up firehun):

Trap Launcher + Growl (for grounding totem stomping):

#showtooltip Trap Launcher

/cast trap launcher

/cast [target=pettarget, exists] Growl

Make sure your pet is not in CC!

@Vorhizzle It does eat grounding totem still, but it's not entirely reliable as your pet has to not only already be in melee range of it's target when you hit the macro (and it won't queue it, it will attempt it at the time you push the macro only), but also the totem has to be in range of your target, and often shamans will place the totem in a place where it is only in range of themselves.

It's good to use growl macros for convenience, but dangerous to rely on them completely :)
