@Trapv2 Cobra and Uniden Have the same guts. Just like 90% of exports. They all modify, so start with what you like. I have a Cobra 19 plus that was "improved upon", and does a great job even barefoot. 73's.

WOW I drive in Alaska rarely do we use cb,s anymore we run 50 watt vhf radios i,m surprised nobody runs vhf radios in the 48 states !

Business, Government, and Public Safety use VHF and UHF radios. VHF and UHF radios require licenses for use which your company has done to have the VHF radio in your truck. CB is citizens band and doesn't require licensing, hence why average joe schmoe picks one up and puts em in. VHF/UHF install/setup/programming is usually done by authorized 2-way radio dealers of the radio manufacturer.
