Thanks a lot for the new post..from 1933 !

"La Marseillaise" - is one of my favourite anthems ..:-)

..I knew the story of who..when..and how..etc..of the French anthem ,and today have found WHOSE theme it was..:-)..Giovanni Battista Viotti 's..an Italian composer.

Unfortunately , I didn't find that piece of Giovanni Battista Viotti,that had inspired Rouget de l'Isle to write the piece that had become "La Marseillaise" later..

@lepaysandu Merci! J'ai aussi la version de 1915 de Marthe Chenal (la dernière photo de la vidéo), elle est très émouvante vu le contexte, mais en mauvais état malheureusement.
