I got the sarcasm completely! I think she later traded her singing ability for a pair of boots, but I guess it was a profitable business decision.

Yes, back in the '60's she had some albums. These Boots were made for Walking was one of them. I believe she also sang a duet with her dad.

That one was from the original rendition by this sisters group called Patience and Prudence.
