I need help! I'm a girl and I recently bought a 90cm euro style railgun. The problem is that I cant load it! Is there some technique I should use to do this or should I get a 75cm?
@babiegirl1987 - A 90 is hard to load. I would suggest starting with a 75cm. There is a technique to load the 90. You would have to start it on your knee, and reaching with your hands, pull it down. It can be pretty difficult. Depending on how tall you are, could be near impossible.
Maybe I will put out a video loading my 115cm which is harder.
Hi mate, try also the new tecnology suitable to all pneumatic spearguns, the stc-x-power is an innovative system that allows your gun to shoot with 30% more power at normal working pressure.
hey ive started going out off the beach. ive got a sub seac asso 90 with just standard out of the box heads and stuff which is pressurised to 20 bar or 290 psi. ive been finding that its accurate but doesnt have much range. after about two to three feet if ur lucky enough to even hit a fish (and these are like small whiting) it doesnt reall hit hard enough to penetrate the fish and usually unless u get to it quick enough it gets free and swims off. i was wondering if anyone could help me.
@lhellyeah123 - I'm not the most knowledgeable person on pneumatic guns. i don't use them. I'm uneducated info would be: you need more pressure in the gun.
Depending on your Visibility, you may need a longer gun, but i would think 90 would be ideal. When ever I've speared in the Ocean or Gulf of Mexico, I was using a 75cm. Sorry I wasn't more help. But this is my weak area.
@whopperhead thanks i went to a dive shop and apparently i pumped it up to quickly so theair inside was hot and then when it cooled it reduced the pressure.... confusing. so im supposed to do 20 pumps and leave it for 5mins before doing another 20
@whopperhead can you tell me what do do with the line and stuff? im realy confused... so you attach the spear to fishing line which is then attached to the float? but then how do u get the fish? im so confused please help me!!
@kwfsuperstar - We have a line that is connected from the spear to the gun. (fishing line) Then we have a rope that is attached at the gun handle then goes to the float. That's just incase the gun gets away. I hope this helps.
@StrengthFromAbove83 - The black skirting blocks out the sun, where a clear skirting allows light in and makes it harder to see. think of it when you are trying to look through a car window when you are outside and it's sunny, you cup your eyes to help block the sun - so you can see better.
@DiggityDirks - "I" use a RIFFE Torpedo Float. I'm not sure what the inflatable board type float is made by. That's my buddy's float - it is sweet, especially with the huge flag!
I see, Whopperhead, makes perfect sense. Except for many of the boaters think they are playing it safe as long as they don't run over the flag, which they think divers must have attached directly to their heads, but, yes, size does matter in this case)
@hyeparis - Have to have the flag to dive here. Boaters STILL don't know what they are or have a hard time seeing them, so........ We figured - GO BIGGER! Seems to work. :-)
Thanks!! I told you I was going to Cuba for my first try and it went well but with little fish :-) At least, I got to try my Aquatek speargun, etc. and realized a lot of things I´ve seen in these videos. After that, I did a couple of changes and I´m missing more pro fins since mine are normal mares and I´m planning to go for Omer Stingray. One thing I need to know is, how much weight would you use in a backpack style?? I weight 70 kilos myself. I´ll use weight in my waste too.
@quieromicubita - Depends on how deep you plan on diving. If it's under 10 meters you need about 5.4 kilos, if its deeper than 10 meters on a regular basis - you will need about 2.7 kilos.
@geofrichubs - More EXCITING videos to come. New video software to tryout with some cool features. Just need clear water to get good footage. Stay tuned................
