  • Im really surprised that is the norm. New yorkers don't play that.. I've seen folks beat each-other for less....

  • ''Oh shit, it;s full''. ''let's try the other door''', ''Damn, it same full too''.

''i won't give up, Push forward everybody'' !!!

  • just get a good running start and dive on top and crowd surf for the duration of your ride

  • a delayed train in Japan is almost unheard of!!

  • push > squeeze > blood rise to brain >>> smart people >>> technology .. LOL

  • Can that a reason für accidents with follwoing trains XD ?

  • Good thing there is double deckers, but why areen't those people using them?

  • @1290Li

because you need to pay extra for dds as they are first class( called "green " in Jpn) cars.

  • @1290Li it's because the double-decker car is the green car, a second class car, which will cost you extra fare. And it's seat only, no standing in the green car. It's for those who mind of standing all the way, and surely has extra yen in their deposit within their SuiCa or pasmo preloaded card. From what i heard, for the longest journey using this line, will cost you extra about more than 1000 Yen from the normal fare.

  • What if every person in that train farted at the same time? .........OMG XD

  • i rather go in last so i could get out easily, instead of being in the middle -.-

  • I love it, when the staff points in both directions to make sure no one is behind the white line.

  • if it was like that in england it would be hell. we english have a fuuny way of geting on a train. we let the othere people of but at all times moving forward

  • if I had to get on and there was no more room I would just crowd surf ha ha!

  • i wonder wt will happen if the doors open suddenly while moving....

  • Sick

  • A pefectly good reason why people in japan make big trains

  • The guy that said to wait till after nine am is right to avoid the body stuffers.

  • It's nice that it's not like this in Denmark. There is still a lot of space even during rush hour :)

  • and the gay music in the bg

man i wouldnt wanna experience this if im havin bad day

  • yea don't go anywhere in TOkyo during rush hour. Just wait til 9am to go out and do stuff. unless you get to TOkyo by night bus and then you get there right at rush hour and you gotta get to your place ASAP soo you have luggagge during rush hour and it sucks ass because the bus drops you off in the middle of Shinjuku XD

  • I hate rush hours in any country..

  • yh i hate getting the bus if its cramped in ireland i would really hate getting this train in japan theirs no doubt about it im paying extra if i ever need the train in japan, not cause im a snob for first class but because that looks uncomfortable!

  • I don't blame you. I'd rather be trapped on a bus with 100 japanese than 10 Irish!

  • i'm kind of agoraphobic so seeing this makes me really uncomfortable! :P

  • wat is agoraphobic??

  • it's like a fear of really crowded places

  • @cuckoo61

claustrophobia= fear of being closed in.

    agoraphobia: fear of open spaces.

  • it can be of open spaces, but it can also be of public places (from agora=marketplace).

  • The double decker cars are known as "green cars" but better known as the first-class cars, for people who are willing the pay the extra price. Just looking at all the folks stuffed in there, I'd pay extra.

  • why dont they just wait for the next train? i swear they are only every 2 minutes or so

  • rush hour! lmao, if they want to feel comfortable in the train they should wait for 2 hours perhaps!! Not "2 minutes" hahaah

  • poor womens

  • poor womens and men. Both

  • lol at people pushers. it sucks to have to compete just to get on the subway

  • Some of them should just go inside the driver's cabin

  • you're a fucking douche bag..

which is obvious that you're a low class person

  • Comment removed

  • Commuting is crazy, wherever you live. You have engineer (A) living in town (B), and engineer (C) living in town (D). But (A) commutes to his job in town (D), and (C) commutes to work in town (B). There should be an agency replanting those plants! Think of all the hours you waste on the train every single week...

  • the guys with uniform must have a hard job

  • ahahaha just pop a lil feel on a hot chick.... nah nah

  • Believe it or not, if you live in Tokyo long enough, you get used to this. =/

  • u like in tokyo? Than how the hell u get out at ur stop?? LOL

  • If you want to get out, just say "excuse me" (in Japanese) and gently shove your way out - people will move, but you just have to give them a bit of encouragement.

  • Haha.. The encouragement is a PUSH right? lols..

    Terrible.

  • teom they are been squeeze like sardines..

  • arghhh u no what there thinking argh whant to goooooo homeeeeeeeeeeee get the fuck outa my way

  • im not gonna bathe for 3 weeks & crap myself in this train and make everyone smell me

  • if I come to Tokyo for just vacation, I'll just walk!

  • You are gay! Err wait a minute Gays are cool.

Well, why don't we just stick a grenade in your butt and poof! you don't have to see stuff that disturbs you! What an idiotic comment. Geez!!

  • If your wondering why they didn't go into the other car, its because that is the Green Car which costs more money to be on. Just an fyi.

p.s. Japanese public transportation is still a ton better than any other transportation worldwide.

  • exactly what i wanted to ask... at the other door noone entered... :D

  • i would HAVE to pay that extra money. no way i would want to get squashed in there.

  • I will bet Japanese are top culture.. seems they are years backwards compare to other cultures in these way ;)))

  • I'm gonna fart and see what happens next

  • I bet the people who bought Green Car tickets are VERY happy they spent extra money on the comfort, compared as to the crowded-ness of the car in front of them!

  • omg lol!!!!!

  • The train of Tokyo is long, and these are 16 cars.

  • well, it's a difference of cultures.

public transportation are regarded as "only for guys without a car" or as dangarous in the west,

but in fact in Japan, its seen as the fastest, cheapest and the most efficient means of transport in cities.

we take it for granted that trains are crowded especially in downtown.

  • that's not the case in sweden/stockholm almost everyone uses public transportation in their regular everyday life :)

  • yeah.... i think that s only true in the US, newsmaniaingaidai!!! same in Germany, absolutely normal to use the public transport...

car is a waste of money and often a waste of time, too

  • i dunno.i come from the us......public transport like the bus come in handy because of rising gas prices and economy.but if i ever go to japan* hope i do* i will want to ride the train. and it will hopefully be crowdedso i can understand!X3

  • I agree with this whole heartedly. Not to mention, depending on where you are, Japanese are horrible drivers. Not because they can't drive, but because the roads are so freaking narrow that what should be a one way road is two way. *Brrr* I get chills when I think about how scary those roads were. I thought I was going to get run over by these drivers because they were so close.

  • If you live at suburban Tokyo and miss the so-called EXPRESS train that only stops at certain major stations, you would spend way more time going home (a Japanese subway line is incredibly long). And that's why passengers strive to get on this train.

  • i wonder how the elderly get on these things...

  • Well, almost any train I travelled in Japan, except for the Shinkansen have so-called priority seats, which are reserved for the elderly, handicapped, etc. And as far as I have witnessed most people are decent enough to give way to the elderly. Just on a little side note, there is a special day in Japan reserved for paying respect to the elderly. This respect for the elderly is also I think reflected in respect for the dead. In Japan one has shrines in ones house, which are attended every day.

  • That's good that people give up their seats, when I get on the one here the college students get up and but the high school students don't they just sit and play with their phones. Also the shrine, many Asian cultures have it :)

  • @masatje hahahahahahahaha!!!!!

tell that to my wife 6 month pregnant, and no one care to give her a seat!

give me a fucking break, i live in Tokyo, people dont give a shit about anyone else, i see that everyday.

  • @elvismen wow, sorry to hear that. I guess those public awareness commercial e.g. AC, do serve a purpose.

  • Wow. Suddenly HK's MTR at rush hour seems like a leisurely and spacious ride

  • Dude who wouldn't want to be pushed next to a cute person?..

  • imagine if someone farted

  • people keep trying to get in even though the train is COMPLETLY FULL!!!!!!

  • Because the next train will be very crowded, so they have no choice but to squeeze inside the train.

  • I LOVE THE MRT of Philippines....

  • omg i love lisbon train

  • Thank God for Stockholm's subway :)

  • 1 million people in that train ...lolol

  • wtf is up with the music they playing in the station, imagine listening to that shit while trying to stuff ur ass in that train

  • It is departure melody to prevent accident and suicider

  • i would bust out laughing every other second if i had heard that while watching those ppl getting asses pushed in like that.

  • Insane ! ...... Check the dude with the guitar at 1.05 hopefully he wasn't intending to busk on that train ! ! !

    Mad as f**k !

  • I didn't know that happens in Japan and I was complaining about the crowdy subway of NYC

  • i wiil hate a train ride like this full of punjavis f@#$%*k imagine the smell!

  • On earth, only Caucasians and Indians smell

  • um... its "train pusher" a job? I mean a good payed one with an education or special training?

  • Wow! Pretty fast and long train, huh?

  • The Tokaido line train (though this one is running on the Shonan-Shinjuku line) is typically 15 cars long.

  • LAWL at the length of taht train

  • o-m-to the g O_O wtf

  • I will definitely move back to japan thats where my family lives, better food, better big boy's toy, Girl's, and i really miss

the subway booty train, one of my favorite travel machine. peace!

  • ooh know I realize why they only eat rice! hahah I really tought that this shit was fake! but I know now that it's not haha

  • holy shyt, double deck?? nice.

  • Those cars are called green cars. They're reserved seat only cars.

  • wow :D

  • Your idiocy astounds me; their infrastructure is bar none, and they continue to make improvements. New York's rush hour is far more of a disaster, and we have nowhere near as many people commuting by rail as Tokyo does. Also, we don't have the constant danger of earthquakes...

  • Furthermore, the fact that you have many crowded modern cities makes it feel even more like a first world nation.

  • Oh Snap! nivekst just layed down the law. fineliving88, you just got pwned.

  • Im guessing you probably had no clue what's going on in the subway buddy. Its so congested that you would literally feel each others ass and not give a dam about thats how bad it is in japan and not like here in the US where we have all these extra land we stole. Peace.

  • and if you make a comment, we'll mark it as spam.

  • Anyway...

    prick.

  • so people replying to a video regarding their country and speaking in their own language offends you?

Why do you even care what they say?

I suggest instead of whining about Kanji you either learn to read it or get a life and realize that not everyone speaks english.

  • dude they literally stuffed there selves in the train lol there trains still look cool though

  • To Eggstien: yeah pretty much as long as you are curteous and have a positive demeanor, I have seen the best and the worst, so all I can say is enjoy Japan, by the way you might want to know that some places, such as bars, some of them, are japanese only, so no gaijin, "no foreigners', well have a nice trip

  • Japanese are friendly to white brittish travelers? I need an honest answer as would love to go there, Please send me message if you have traveled before to japan

  • slave express...SAD

  • wow, the train looks so clean and beautiful

  • Yes, no tags!

  • But rinkai-line (which is usually empty) on the fast morning of some days when the Comic-market takes place is one of the worst train in the world.

  • And i thought the max in Portland was bad. im going to saitama in march and i think ill take a bus or walk before riding on a train.

  • I think I've actually ridden this line before..........

  • Some trains are local, express or rapid express. People may want to get on a rapid express that skips 90% of the local stops so they can get home in 15 minutes versus 1 hour or more with local trains. I used to think I'll just wait for the next train (usually a local train) but the rapids and express trains are a premium ride if you can get on one.

  • The Japan railways should have a huge amount of

guards to maintain some sort of punctuality with all

    those impatient commuters

  • We, Japan, probably have the highest punctuality in majority of the railways on any given day. The passengers are not being impatient. They've already waited long to get on the train after the delay. When minor delay occurs due to bad weather and/or accidents people pile up so quickly especially during rush hour. This train has picked up passengers in previous 2 other major terminuses before stopping at Omiya.

  • or 5 will be better

  • Do these trains come every like 30 minutes or something? If not, all these people pushing and nudging each other to get in should just wait for the next one.

  • as far as i know they come in every 10 mins.lol.theres just so many of them!

  • These train (to Ueno) comes from every 5-12 minutes in 6 o'clock p.m. and 8-12 or 8-14 minutes in 7 p.m.

Trains for utsunomiya(宇都宮) comes from every 2-10 .

  • its a bit misleading.

Then trains were delayed due to bad weather.

they had a long wait for the train.

beside, the train they waited for were so crowded with

passengers who ride at previous stations that it was too hard to ride the train.

I guess it wasnt announced when the next train come.
