most of your guys computers will be able to run it
I run it on a intel i3 core 550 with 3GB DDR3
and I am only using a intregrated intel GMA HD graphics card bcause I havnt upgraded to a decent graph card yet and my pc runs smooth as fuck :)
only thing is C4D is a powerfull program and will take a good hour or 2 render time especially if its something complex and if you use HDRI light rooms, but ussual only take me half an hour for simply things :)
@riniks112 Oh yeah, your machine is way more powerful than the one I rendered on. The animation isn't too heavy to render at all. It plays nicely in your viewport Actually I think the lighting and materials I used caused more render time than the dynamic simulation.
@akashmajumdar2512 Probably, but not very well. Expect long render times. Check the system specs on the maxon website. Try running the demo version too. If the demo works, then the full commercial version should work.
@LewisTheLizzard I have a tutorial on Cineversity(dot)com on this effect called MoDynamics with Particle Modifiers. The core of the project uses a Formula effector to scale the spheres (which repel eachother with MoDynamics collisions), and an attractor object to pull them back towards the center.

@OldTimer16 I'll take that as one of the best compliments I have ever received in my life!
Glad I could give you that feeling back, even if it's only 20 seconds worth =)

Would I be able to make something like this on my system?
Intel Quad-core 6600
4Gb ram
nVidia GT 8800
Wouldn't rendering take too much time?

Hey master nut,
great work! Could you tell me which mograph-/modynamic-tools you used to create this clip? Would be very kind of you.
