I got this phone in May 2009 and loved it... after a while it had many defects. It freezes and shuts off randomly and when you take a picture sometimes it says unable to capture image but resides that it is a pretty good phone. i am getting the MSGM8 tomorrow.

This is a great phone to have at first. Overtime you will start to notice that you phone will start to freeze and/or shut off. Do not shrug it off! Take it to your nearest store. I am currently purchasing a new phone because of its defects.

I got this phone for Cricket...let me say that I was thinking i was only going to be $150...but because I had a existing account somehow I ended up paying $250. I must say that this phone is pretty nice...one of the better cricket offers. But I dont think its worth $250. Which is also the retail price when new...for what it does it does it well. More like a $150-175 phone. Camera placement is poor, and motorola needs to remove the "menu enter and exit effects" as that slows the phone down!

@alleyesonme2012 I've had my hint for 6 months and haven't had that problem. Take it back to your cell provider and see if they'll replace it or look at it. They replaced mine no problem when the keypad was shorting out. I think the warranty's a year and my provider was US Cellular, so it depends on who you have of course.

This phone absolutely is the worst phone ever made. It accumulates to many outbox messages until it crashes and you cannot delete the outbox because it crashes as well. Worst user face ever. Constantly Crashes and resets itself. Pocket dials and text people. The button keys paint falls off from normal usage. (Keep in mind i've had this phone for 5 months)

the youtube problem is sometimes with service problems or the messages you are getting and just some videos wont play on mobile devices.

i think you should get the Hint Edgoworld but if you liked the first messager then you might like the second version. i love the hint. the messages are easier to read, the internet is so much faster, the buttons are easier to press than my last phone (messager), and the phone is bulky but it is very cool to play with.
