  • What band is this, and what song? I so want to buy the cd now.

  • Posted by a user and removed. not sure why but he was dead on:

The first Punk and Psychobilly band in the world, Los Saicos, was Peruvian, and played from 1964 to 1966, even before those terms were created...

  • I have to agree , this is just punk rock crap , I'm starting to see this crap sneaking in to so called Rockabilly scence , well done for free speech

  • hey man that song i guess is basically the revs version of the old hillbilly hot rod race / hotrod lincoln series of songs, its a bit hard and fast but RHH does do a bit of more traditional sounding stuff aswell as alot of country that sounds much more country than that boy band country stuff i see on tv on the country music channel, heavy distortion has been around since the 50"s, eg Link Wray's "rumble" I just didnt get the xzibit style presenters

  • its a fusion of punk and rockabilly, you snob assholes! get a life. fuck.

  • i hate punk rock

  • @russ9356 I hate hip hop

  • I wonder Why we dont have this kind of events down here in mexico, rockabilly still so underground. =(

  • who is this song by?

  • @TheNicoscerri calavera

  • ... Punk rock... Rockabilly. Why do you care so much? they are essentially one in the same. Rockabilly is like the older version of punk rock. They paved the road to rebellion for many genres and cliques. Besides, one should keep a broad range of musical taste, Life is bland without...

  • de quien es el tema que suena

  • 0:48 that me jk 0:56 ...562!!!!

  • Being a Mexican - American, this style has been part of my culture since it started ...and if your from LA..it's almost like another religion

so i sort of hate the fact that they mention Latino instead of Chicano or mexican-american, we started it all..why not shine the limelight on us?

  • You have your props Sir for keeping it alive in So Cal, however, mexicans did NOT start the look. Motorheads and greasers who were into good ole' Detroit steel started it in the 40's and 50's. Mind you there was segregation then... and Mexicans were not a majority influence in the US, expecially not one to start a movement of rebelion. Regardless, its something we can all enjoy and I think we can agree on that! Besides.. custom lowriders are clean =)

  • @atlasperros Rockabilly Nation, No Boundaries!

  • Speed & style...mucho caliente!

  • I just cant listen to Pyschobilly or Punk its discusting..it have nothing to do with Rockabilly.

  • thats debatable

  • No, not really.. punk is nothing of rockabilly. Your trying to compare James Dean, Elvis Presley, Buddy Hollly to what? The Ramones, or mohawks, torn jeans? I would have to disagree.. and the music is completely different.

  • Maybe not so much 'punk' but if you compare it to psychobilly, they're not "completely different." The instruments are basically the same thing; a stand up bass, drums, and a guitar. They have similar progressions. The main difference is that the theme of psychobilly is much darker than that of rockabilly. All you really have to do to make a rockabilly song into a psychobilly song is you change the keys to a minor key, then change the lyrics up a little to fit the 'darker' side to psychobilly.

  • That's very interesting to see American 'Latino' people take up a southern style of music and culture. Interesting to see these mix together!

  • Latinos have been into that 50's thing since the 50's

  • lol very true

  • i hate tiger amry

  • Wheres the rockabilly??

i hear distortion and alot of screamin!!

get your fucking facts straight..this is punk rock not Rock a billy...

    yawn..

  • that might be what they have referred to as the "psycho-billy" a fusion of punk and rockabilly.

  • its not punk its psychobilly!!! cant you hear the slap bass!!

  • But it also is not rockabilly!!

  • thats whats sad. you can take a pop-punk song and put a slap bass to it and its automatically considered psychobilly. go look up the batfinks or the guana batz to hear some real psycho. not that tiger army crap they call psycho now

  • yea thats true guana batz are boss!!! batmobile, the sharks, the quakes, frenzy, all theose cats are real psychobilly!!

  • OTMAPP

  • what the heck does OTMAPP mean?

  • Really claiming about real Psychobilly and don't know OTMAPP

Only The Meteors Are Pure Psychobilly

  • haha i dont claim to know anything about it i just think that in my opinion the newer "psycho" bands arent psychobilly. its just my opinion. i dont want any problems =]

  • no problems, you just listed a bunch bands from the 80's except The Meteors

  • sorry bout that...and the meteors

  • mmm slap bass...

  • @bluemoonphantom mmm. yeah, its psychobilly. Or, um, punk+stand up bass

  • @bluemoonphantom Technically, it's Psychobilly, not punk rock.

  • @bluemoonphantom its psychobilly

  • wow... that is sooo not rockabilly. awesome punk/psychobilly band (Calavera)... but it's not an accurate description of the Rockabilly Revival. Check out the Rebel Beat DVD... it's one of the better documentaries on Rockabilly. not the best but it's the best version you'll get within a few hours.

  • What is the name of the song and the band ??

  • dig it!!! vamos rebeldes!!! hahaha

  • I love that! I love when something that most people think of being one way is done with a little bit of a twist to it. Rockabilly en Espanol!! lol

  • WTF is that? That sounds like punk rock. L.A. has too many fakes.

And I always run into those fat girls with Betty Page bangs.

  • @RadioRecordClub @bluemoonphantom wow. get your fucking facts straight. this is psychobilly. originally from Britain.

  • its not mainstream bullshit like what we hear in the radio, movies or pop culture nowadays.its about loving the usa, the fuckin badass cars, to dress up like a man and still respect and honor our beautiful women. Not like fuckin rap garbage and pinches lowriders mamones.

  • I was always into Rockabilly music. Got into in back in the mid-nineties. I always thought I was the only Mexican who liked this but then I discovered that there was a big rockabilly scene in LA.

  • Damn i really hat this.

  • South american rockabilly? O.o

  • very good

  • grande juan charrasqeado!!!!!!!!

  • aja jai, calavera psychobilly!!!!!!!

  • its Calavera. song is called charrasqueado

  • Cool song! Who's this?

  • OK, I saw it to late in the vid - sorry!!!!

  • Retro is part of the Rockabilly appeal.. but just part of it.. Pin-up, hot-rods, music, tattoos and fashion.. There is also a bit of punk influence in "psychobilly" which mixes Punk with Rockabilly..

  • You've GOT to be kidding. Looks more like a Retro thing...
