that's the worst guitar tone I've ever heard in my life. Maybe it's just me but I hate marshall. They're over priced and they suck for tone. Get a new guitar with some active emg's seriously man. Get a peavey or a mesa to go with it. I can't say much since I'm poor and using a 15 watt line6 but I always go to guitar center to play around with half stacks. Fuck marshall. the length i have no idea but i'll tell ya it doesn't fit in any guitar case, you actually have to buy the EX guitar case for it and its huge at that. The guitar is worth $1048 for what i bought it for at Sam Ash i don't know about other places. My f-50 on the other hand is smaller and fits in just about any guitar case. I ended up buying that one at the same store for $210.
