Young goaltenders, watch Luongo, Brodeur, Miller, Nabokov, Pavilec, Fleury, and Vokoun for modern-day good examples of goaltending, not this clown.

The only goalkeeper I've ever felt "safe" with, when watching games with Frölunda and Tre Kronor. Apart from others, you never get the feel that he'll "mess up", he's always a God in front of the net.

Marty. Patrick, those are the only 2 goalies I've seen in the past 25 years that can be called great. Billy Smith isn't even a great goalie and he won 4 cups. Fuhr isn't even a great goalie and he has one 4 cups......... The word great gets passed around so easliy that it gets washed up. GREAT is only for a few and I've see in goalies just 2. Messier is GREAT....... I dont even put Scott Stevens as great and he won 3 cups for the Devils. Scott Stevens was a very good player.

That made no sense at all. Henrik is one of the best goalies in NHL if not the best (yeah its true), he is basically what made rangers make it to the playoff.

Nabby, Kipper, Brodeur, Miller, Luongo. Those are 5 best by now. Lundqvist nowhere near. And yes maybe last season but we're livin 2010.

Brodeur has a sick team in front of him, Nabokov has a great offense that backs him up. Miller, Luongo and Kipper are great goaltenders. But, no way is Lundqvist not anywhere near them. Lundqvist gives the Rangers a chance to win and is always on top of his game, of course he will have the occasional bad game but which goaltender doesn't? The team in front of him is the reason his stats are not what the should be ON PAPER. If you watched every game you would see how well he actually plays.

@MglsVnGigls Luongo really? There is no way luongo is better than henrik. Henrik always seems to be on his game and is the reason the rangers even have a shot at the playoffs this year. Lungo is a decent goalie but he always chokes. Its a good thing vancouver can score 7 goals a game lol.

It's alright, My Swedish friend will be back with a Vengeance. and with the new additions, the Rangers will have new life. Lundqvist the is a world class goalie like Miller, Luongo, Marty and Kipper as as well as Nabokov. Lundqviast is going to be better than all of those goalies, except Miller. Miller is going to pass Brodeur for records.

Average NHL goalie at best. He came out strong but i dont think he will last. and yes the Rangers are not helping his career out much. He goes somewhere else in 2-3 yearsi guarantee it! If he doesnt then he's doomed to a life of Ranger disappointment.

Yes, I agree the Rangers are on a great track now. Solid coach. Good goalie and very good players. I dont' hate the Rangers as much as I come across, I just trash the Ranger misshaps. Maybe Lundqvist never have won a cup or anything in the NHL but he's still a top goalie. I play goalie in my team and it's a crappy team i get like 50+ shoots every game and we loose with like 4-0 am i a bad goalie cause i can't stop 50 pucks every game and my team can't score.
