I'd say Gaborik is much much more important to the Rangers then Callahan is. Don't get me wrong though, I love Callahan, I wish ever player had his work ethic.
maybe last season simply due to the Rangers anemic offense, but for the most part, Gaborik just scores goals and makes a good pass now and again
Callahan will never have the offensive skills the Gabby does but hes hits plenty, is a great penalty killer and in just his second season i believe it was had shown that he can score 20+ goals
Gabby has more offense hads down but really Callahan is a much more well rounded player
@PyroAnarchist23 I'm not going to argue your opinion, but I still disagree. Gaborik can give you 40-45 goals a year, he plays the PK pretty well and is great defensively compared to other star goal scorers in the league. He's a pretty decent playmaker too, which can help so much on the PP.
Callahan is much more better defensively and will score about 20-25 a year and is one of the best PKers in the league. He is the type of support players you build contenders around.
i don't think so man. rangers are my team man but we lost jagr shanny is probably gone and straka is gone. i think we're gonna have a worse year. naslund and redden don't put up that many numbers. and zherdev is a skillful selfish player but when u come to the rangers you lose that and you become a passer. just look how jagr did his first year as a ranger then the next 2 years.
This was just about as good as winning the Stanley Cup. To be honest, I couldn't believe how much the Blueshirts DOMINATED the Devils in the series, and all season.
In the end, I realized I just seemed too good to be true!
i was at the garden and it was just so cool how right when staal got it the entire crowd went silent, then you heard the ping from the back of the net, and the place erupted

and i remember it hitting staal's skate in game 3
and then i saw this the next game and was like WHOAAA SHWEET!
