It's a representation of how versatile he is, in his game FFV, he could change jobs whenever and use different weapons mastery all techniques and powers.

This is later, so now he can change and battle together fluidly, he has mastered the power given to him by the crystals.

I've always been wondering that Exdeath's appearance, did anyone notice that his shoulders is similar to that to Enuo, the necromancer who originally created the Void because Exdeath is born from the manifestation of all evils in the Great Forest of Moore, and possibly his outlook has some similar features, a combination of the other evils' appearance? Just need anyone to clarify about this.

Heh. Butz is cool. I'm sure they'll end up calling him Bartz in the US version. Can't wait for this game to come out stateside! But for the JP voice actor of Butz, it sounds familiar. He sounds like Souichirou Hoshi (the JP voice for Kilik from Soul Calibur), ..can anyone confirm for me if I'm right?

Bartz is a mime, his ability is copying the weapons/abilities of his allies. So he can wield the weapons of all the heroes/use their attacks
