i got one of these with a custom warmoth neck, its a TONE MONSTER...

specially the neck pickup, its impressive

and cause it was cheap i didn't mind relicing it

its freaking sweet

i also got a les paul standard neck from warmoth and its got thatnice thick neck

and grungy sound

it sounds great out of a little knockoff digital amp!

This guitar is shit the beginner squiers are much better. They're built like shit, go out of tune everytime you pick it up and it sounds like shit. I say get one if u plan on modding the shit out of it.....also FLAMES are gay when u kids grow up youll relize that flames dont belong on a guitar, serioulsy i remember being a kid and thought flames were sweet on everything well

I believe it's the string touching your fretboard, because I remember when I first started playing guitar, my power chords used to buzz quite often.

Yeah if the string's just about touching the fret but not hard against it it buzzes. Makes acoustic really hard to play. Just press down harder. Or check it's not a loose jack or something.

I personnaly own one of those, and the most annoying part is the fact, that the G string is way louder then all the other strings somehow, and the tuners are shit :P

I notice that on every guitar, the G string is louder than most strings. Or maybe I just hate the G string. But you can always buy new tuners for 40bucks.

Anyways this guitar seems decent for a beginner, should last at least 1 year.

yea it is stock pickups, goes great with the new pod xt live from line 6 and cry baby wah sounds really cool aswell on this guitar, it really is a versatile guitar, check out independent state, a south african band they used this set up to record their debut song - the world, if you are into punk they really are a cool band

honestly, the benefits of at least the studio will get you. two volumes and two tones with slightly better tone make the studio, standard, and up a good buy, not to insult yall with specials, but have you played higher end stuff? there really are gems to be found in high price, even though price isn't everything.
