Strane that Tamil Nadu which has given to Indian Cinema a genius of the caliber of Kamal has also produced a marathi speaking dumb artiste called Rajini who cannot speak decent Tamil but is worshipped. Diversty, thy is the name of Tamil Nadu and am proud of it.

@olebaj cuz kamal degraded tamil culture. Infact, he was against marraige,encouraged living together, and said girls need not be virgins before virgins etc. Rajni respected tamil culture and that is why tamil people respected him.
@mumbaiindianspollock Kamal is a forward thinking man who respected culture but doesnt degrade it...he may not follow every bit of the culture he was born into. honestly, how many of your own culture's customs do u follow to every bit?...kamal is a realist..
@papyrus16 I accept that he is a forward thinking man.In one of his interviews, he said the more ethnic u become,the more universal u become. But he is contradictiong himself.For instance, he was the first person 2 introduce smooching scenes in tamil cinema.Reason: he was influenced by english films. Also he openly said in 1 interview that marraige is just for diving property after divorce and there is no unconditional love between people who believe in marraiges.These do not go well with tamils

And kamal also mocks/critisices god in many movies,thinking he is smart.These things dont go too well with tamil audience.
@loompa332 i think the male is govind singh n the girl is geetha...unfortunately they didnt use better anchors..geetha has even appeared in a movie (pattiyal)...i think she co-produced or something...if not mistaken..
"Dhevar Magan", what a great movie. Kamal roped in the greatest actor there is and also wrote the script ? Wow... Seen that movie so many times and never gets old.
It was a nice interview by the Malaysian hosts... Well done to them, they carried it out in a very prefessional and dignified manner with some nice questions and clips... Malaysia Boleh!
