The Allman Brother's band was in the studio at the same time as Derek and the Dominos and Eric Clapton asked if he would help him record some of the album. he wound up recording the whole album with him. that was the only studio album that band ever recorded. eric clapton made that band hoping that no one would figure out that it was in fact him in the band instead of "Derek"
