  • Great video,,,,the incomparable Matt Monro....of course the Beatles....the Honeycombs hit......forgot how great the Animals were...what a keyboardist they had..thanks for posting.

  • Simply amazing... mesmerized by a young Matt Munro

  • This whole film personified the Original British Invasion that paved the way for The Second British Invasion of the 80's

  • Mad Men a GO GO- Love it

  • I like how The Beatles started and ended the show.

  • These are what I like about the 60s. The hippies destroyed everything though.

Oh, what's this genre of music in the dance called though?

  • Pop Gear was made by ABPC (Associated British Picture Corporation) and released by Warner Pathe in 1965. The Beatles clip was filmed by the same company (Pathe News) As both films were shot in Techniccope, it was decided to use the Beatles Pathe News footage in Pop Gear.

  • This (and the film's opener) appears to be live-on-film, real-time, un-overdubbed Beatles, proving the foursome once more to be, despite all the hype and pretense,

one of truly the tightest bands ever.

  • Thanks, and thanks again, I really enjoyed watching this movie.

  • This has all been a treasure to watch. Thanks!

  • We would have lived in a different world then.....the irony of all is that the Vietnam war began under Kennedy's presidency....

  • You don't here tunes like these anymore...

  • Matt Monro was a treasure of a singer. Why didn't US Radio embrace him more? Radio jerkoffs robbed us!

  • @freepussy because the Radio idiots care more for themoney

  • austin powers dancers
