  • Local H are one of the best bands I've ever heard, Pack Up The Cats was a masterpiece in my opinion, as was As Good As Dead.

  • I heard that you were great now we know you're lame since you saw the shooow last night!

  • why is all anyone concerned about is how popular a band is compared to justin bieber or the justin bieber of that year? srsly shut the fuck up, commercial success doesnt mean a song is good or any better than any other song so just stfu

  • very nice! miss the old days

  • Had the privilege of seeing them live about 5-6 years ago, one of the best live shows and bands I've ever seen. So much energy for a two piece. If anyone wants to hear some more awesome two piece bands with great energy check out White Stripes, Black Keys, and Middle Class Rut. Might've heard of some of them but show support so we can keep great music alive!

  • @ici2k643 Check out One-Eyed Doll. They are the most powerful two-piece ever. Their frontwoman is the female Iggy Pop.

  • @UltimateWeirdoRadio nice, they're pretty dam awesome!

  • Singer looks like Jeff from Saved by the Bell.

  • Not rotting man. They are doing it every weekend here in Chicago. Missed out on the show tonight, but Im jamming their shit in the garage. There is even a link to their show under the 'like' bar for the New Years show

  • I hate all the wanna be rock stellas that listen to linkin park then talk about how they are part of the "8%" of teens that still like rock.. Just a little update to those fags. Linkin park and all that shit is just as bad as lady gaga and justin beiber. Your just in denial.

This here is real rock and uhm.. well if you don't agree than go fuck your self :D

Why dont kids just shut the fuck up and listen too real rock... None of that famous shit.

  • @4221joel Linkin park actually has metal roots, so I agree with you.

  • @daretobeforgotten metal is part of rock, but that doesnt matter. linkin park just sucks.

  • Wanna see them in the early days when they were a 3 piece band? In the YouTube search engine type : Local H cable access

  • If you watch a video and don't like it, why would you tell people about it?

  • Thier "Pack Up The Cats" album has been a fav of mine forever.

  • eat my poop vevo

  • they used to play this on the greatest radio station ever chicagos Q101...

  • The 90's... You really can't compete with it, unless you're the late 60's.

  • Every fucking video, someone just has to mention Bieber.

  • @thisisanaeroplane like you just did?

  • @MrCoolguy1988 damn straight

  • I saw these guys in concert... late 90s .... crowd surfing , Docs, wide leg jeans and baby tees!!! Best teenage years ever....xoxo

  • i would deffinitely wear a local h tshirt

  • i heard Local H made some new songs.

  • I remember seeing this video on mtv2 when I was 12 years old. That was a good fucking time.

  • two man band awesome

  • Why didn't they wash their hands!?

  • i heard this on radio 1 today, great song!

  • Scott Lucas is my hero <3

  • Local H fucking rocks!!!!!!! What a great twOsome!!!

  • Amazing what great sounds you get with only 2 guys :)

  • I am also in a two-man band. Not quite as seasoned as these guys but I think we are pretty damn good. Thanks for the upload.

  • WOW.... we were born for this....

  • @egonoe1 california songs, bound for the floor, what can i tell you, Pj soles, Everyone Alive, Hand to mouth, Hands on the bible, The One with "Kid"

Keep rockin high fivin mutha fucker

  • Do what you do, Love your work boyz!

  • ...i want my own black guy...

  • @thetwistofcain Oh, slavery jokes.

  • So Fuck!!!

  • Why oh why does humanity insist on making Justin Beiber popular and leave bands like this to rot in the history books?..What a shame

  • @Jonesy48Shady economics i think. pawns like beiber are easier to find, produce, package and market. decent bands like this are too few and far between these days (at least as far as the labels are concerned) also everyone wants to be a fucking thug or a whore.. or so MTV would have us believe.

  • @Garkar2006 right that makes sense..worst part is that so many just go along with all of that

  • @Jonesy48Shady yeah.. fans minds seem to be a bit too lazy and unstimulated.

  • @Jonesy48Shady because people like you with your hate makes him famous

  • @tgizzle829 I don't hate him..and I haven't bought and album of his so I don't think I've contributed to his success

  • @Jonesy48Shady building his infamy still contributes to his fame

  • @Jonesy48Shady why does every good song on youtube have a comment about justin beiber? just shut the hell up about that douche

  • @Jonesy48Shady Not everyone has the same taste in music as you. JB appeals to a wider audience, deal with it, stop being stupid.

  • @Jonesy48Shady record companies

  • Hell yeah!

  • more than 98% of kids who watched this and clicked a thumb are awesome. this is a citadel of ROCK!! yay for ROCK!!!!!!! 90s forever!!?!!!!!

  • @Mr1981pete

no ROCK ON FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 60s 70s 80s and 90s are the cool kids though :)

  • the 11 shit boxes that disliked this are complete chum stains ....Local H fuckin' kicks it ...

  • FYI you can't forget a band that is still together and touring. They're releasing a greatest hits CD on April 5th with a tour to promote it. Check out their website (localh dot com) to pre order the cd and see if they'll be close by for the tour.

  • Are they from portland?

  • @MrUgotpranked No, they're from a suburb of Chicago called Zion. Gotta represent my city

  • @MrUgotpranked Nope, Chicago.

  • @MrUgotpranked

the dream of the 90s is alive in Portland?

  • local H... you didn't fail us and we'll never forget you.

  • IT's never good when it goes bad

  • Holy hell i forgot about this song this roxors.

  • local h is great

  • the lead singer looks like onision

  • @TheDittohead3 Don't ever compare Scott Lucas to that piece of shit.

  • @TheDittohead3 he seriously does

doesnt mean he acts like him @Thedittohead3

    I like scott more :D

  • 11 people cant understand awesomeness

  • NEXT

  • this band write more of the damndest bestest catchiest kick-ass rock songs than most bands manage in a career

  • If John Stamos and Kurt Cobain had a secret love child...

    This is him.

    Haha.

    I love Local H.

  • @xXLauraLouuXx Hahaha! Good one!

  • these guys kick so much ass in my ass

  • @JackoReaper you freaking homo

  • does anyone know where i can find guitar tabs???

  • i love this song. i love local h

  • first black guy to ever play the drums.ha......i love it

  • Even Local H's pop songs are too badass for mainstream radio.

  • WOW!

  • I broke my ankle watching them at the metro in 99 one of the best times I had at a concert. I got crowd surfed to the EMTs that were by the front entrance.

  • Thumbs up for alternative Black dudes.

  • @SellTheBenefits Normally, I would start an argument with someone asking for thumbs up, but you deserve it for that buddy. ^^

  • good music never dies

  • ..This is the first band since I was 14 that has made me do air guitar in my 20s lol

  • two man army

  • no fuckin thanks

  • how are these guys not all over the place?

  • NOT OVER A MILLION VIEWS?!?!?!?!?!

  • First time i heard this song, it's really good!

  • Is this really just 2 band members playing?

  • @fizmath Yup

  • @fizmath yes and its been that way for about 15 years now. they originally had 3 or 4 in the band. scott (singer) has a bass pickup moded on to his guitar. so while he plays live he's playing both bass and guitar at the same time. jope (drummer) left the band after this album came out and has been replaced by brian st clair. the man is a fucking beast on drums. first night i saw him he broke his kit on the very first song because he was hittin them so hard.

  • @fizmath yah. the guitar player uses a custom rig, his guitar sends bass with basspickup at same time to bass cab.

  • oddly enough, that song kind of reminds me of Uncle Tupelo.

  • oddly enough that song kind of reminds me of Uncle Tupelo.

  • A perfect song for a perfect era; just before it all turned to shit...

  • my era! best song!

  • Best "meta" rock song ever?

  • Fucking sweet editings!

  • Supersong!

  • No that's what a crowd's supposed to act like.

  • They are dope

  • there from zion ill fo sho

  • what the hell was wrong with joe

  • This band is so great, but it's so underrated! They should get more radio time!

  • if you love local h, check out Ozma.

  • Saw them open up for STP back when As Good As Dead first came out. Put on an awesome show.

  • @lookatmepleasesir Surprise a guy whose name is lookatmeplease would need to say racist shit to get attention... I think I hear a dingo eating your baby....

  • Comment removed

  • dont mind that redneck bigot piece of shit he has been in a pissy mood ever since his sister stopped letting him put his fingers in her

racists should have their rights to continue living revoked

  • Pack Up the Cats was a masterpiece, terribly underrated.

  • @jlcochran Funny, that was how I got hooked on them. Picked up the CD randomly and loved them from the first song I played.

  • oh shit its just like the band "HOODROC" but in reverse..lol

  • why does this sound just like 'Don't Go Away' by Buckcherry?

  • gotta love 90's alternative! long live the 90's!

  • Hells yeah... very talented guys.

  • What actually really bothered me is that one of the many Scotts at the end of the video took a piss and DIDN'T WASH HIS HANDS.

  • Chicago rocks!

  • @diana19853

    They're still making albums, dude.

  • I have got to see these guys again!!

  • Local H is about to rock tailgaters tonight!

  • goooooood

  • Good to know these guys are in Chicago that's where I live! I'll check them out sometime

  • I agree i have seen them a few times .... actually carried scott off the stage cause he crowd surfed.. at the end of the show and we took him to the area where they were selling stuff

  • My favorite, my favorite, my favorite.

  • i heard that you were lame

but now i think that you're great

since i saw the show last night :)

  • @glosticmescalina wow. thank you so much for posting lyrics that we can all clearly hear. I would have been lost without this. now If I can only learn to read.

  • goddamn it, i wish more people found this guy out...*sigh*

  • What happened to this music..? :(

    child of the 90's!! x)

  • they remind me of Nirvana for some reason

  • @pauljohngerorgringo cause nirvana was one of Scott's influences :D

  • ive always loved this video

  • yea i like them too, never heard of them before now.

  • i would were there t shirts! :)

  • Wow these guys seriously rock. I can't believe I've never heard of them before. I'll be supporting for sure. Hey you guys should check out "Navicula", from Indonesia. They are considered the "Pearl Jam/Alice in Chains", of Indo, and they are very worthy.

  • dude this a good song. wat made him write this? they had a shitty show?

  • heres another good one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WTF this is good!! what the hell!! how come i dont know them!!?? never ever heard of them!!??

  • I like the shows with Joe when the drums were right up on the edge of the stage. St. Claire rocks too though. Don't go gettin me wrong.

  • As many bands that got paid b.c of Nirvana I think H suffered b/c of Nirvanas success. They came into the spotlight when Grunge was a term everyone (fans or not) was tired of so H got thrown into the "Another Nirvana sounding band" pile & never got the respect they deserve & Scott is not the ass kissing kind of guy so they never got to the mainstream. THANK GOD!!! H is the best band no one has heard of. From Hamfisted to 12 angry months. From Joe to Brian, never missed a beat Fucking Awesome!!

  • makes we wish we were still in the 90's. 90's were awesome, and its clear, we are not letting it die!

  • Local H has been trying to get rep for years but it never works out, they even played on the Conan O' Brien show and their still not as popular as they should be, so their asking for your help to make them as big as most rock stars, post comments, make videos, give shoutouts, whatever it takes they need some help, and whats better at getting people popular than youtube?

Copy and paste to as many videos as possible

  • @josephvanfreeman too bad though cuz i think its impossible now that a fake rock stars like miley cyrus brainwashing the kids now a days-_-

  • When I discovered this song I loved it so much I listened too over and over again for a whole day and now I'm sick of it

  • whoa whoa, where did nirvana come in? this is local h. sure, same years (the 90s), but no, not the same group. appreciate nirvana separately and appreciate local h separately. both great 90s bands. both with their own voice. long live the 90s brothers...

  • Man, this song makes me feel so old and nostalgic - music doesn't sound this real anymore for some reason. Is it just an illusion of fond memories? . . . And why is this band never mentioned in the same breath as Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, etc.? Anyone who grew up during the grunge era knows they're just as important as any of them were.....

  • True that, man. True that...

  • they became famous in '98 when grunge was dying

  • Local H is still rocking live harder than any one else. Scott and Brian are still keeping it real. What the fuck is Joe doing now?

  • Comment removed

  • I'm a NIRVANA FAN (diehard) and I love this song! It's great. The reason I like Nirvana is becuz It wasn't just HEAVY ROCK it had a melodic feel to it, this is what this song has.

  • This song makes me think of the suburbia I never grew up in.

  • Comment removed

  • So uh, is it safe to say Scott fucked your girlfriend or something and now you're upset over it?

  • your such a dick

  • I hate commercial radio, but this should've been a hit. Really.

  • Just goes to reiterate the message of the song

  • @CSchwarten this song was all over the radio when pack up the cats came out. 12 years ago radio was almost still good though.

  • 2 guys playing very hard and loud music makes for a great time love local h :))))

  • damn, look at all those twins, their moms must have some major loose pussy now

  • Just wondering who do they use to record their bass lines for their songs. I only see two band members. Forgive me I never looked that heavily into the band.

  • On their albums, the guitarist just multi-tracks the bass lines using a normal bass guitar. Live, though, what he does is he has bass pickups on his guitar, thus creating two output signals. He sends one signal through an octave pedal into a bass amp, so that plays the bass line. Then he sends the other amp to his normal guitar amp. Yeah, he plays the bass and the 6 string guitar at the same time, it's pretty badass.

  • this is suchh a good band<3 wonder what'd they';d sound like if they did a song now....

  • That was a joke right? Go check em out on tour, NOW!

  • @jennahjam they have a new cd out

  • I've said it before ..And I wil say it again Local H is the best band EVA

  • Is Local H still a band? Last time I saw them in concert Joe was gone.

  • Joe is gone but theres still a band, check out their site. The sound is different but still decent.

  • yah Local H is still a band. They have this awesome drummer called Brian St.Claire. I like him better than Joe

  • I like Joe better that was what Local H was about Scott and Joe with the new guy it just seems forced. Joe has groove and vibe to his playing and the new guy just bashes and is quite boring with his stage presence. Sorry no offense

  • joe was also black which made him awesome

  • A long time ago Local H used to have a bass player and they made a live recording for public cable access. They rocked hard for an hour and at the end Scott and Joe were wrestling around on the floor. They just kept the cameras rolling as they were rolling around. Funny stuff.

  • Local H is, THE BEST!!!!

  • I love this song. They also did another version of this song that had different lyrics that was just as good. What the hell was wrong with Joe!
