@hollysmoke Yea, I've thought about that but I really want and ARB or maybe a Toyota E locker for the front. Of course then I'd have to do Longfields and since I'm there, regear it so It'll probably cost me a grand or more. Come on tax refund!!!!
@rattlecanpaint... ya I was just wondering because I'm in the process off replacing my IFS and was wondering if 5" of lift is enough to clear 35s with some wheel travel?
@89yota18 I'd think 5 would be enough but you may have to trim the fenders a bit. These tires rubbed the pinch weld before I pounded it flat and the fenders a bit too. I've since cut the fenders a little and am toying with the idea of putting the rear springs I took off for the 63 chevy's up front. I've got other stuff to do first though. Seems it's a never ending thing! Best of luck to you!
@89yota18 Yea they are 35s. Not sure how much lift total. It's got 1.5 inches of body lift. The springs are some Superlift for a V8 minus a leaf and in this video it has an add a leaf and 2 inch blocks in the rear. Now it's got Chevy 63's on the rear and needs a bit more to level it out again.
@hurleykid83 You've obviously not wheeled much. That's pretty common. Just like anything in life, you have problems, you try something else, and if that doesn't work, you try something else till you get it.
mine is welded (cuz im broke). 4:10 (for strength) and afro engineered lift (because im white) on 35s and an on/off switch for a gas pedle. and i rape jeeps and chevys all day any where homie.
