I remember watching this movie when it came out in 2000 on TV. It looks so corny now but back then it was the shit!!! Looking back on it, this movie was nothing more than a tool for the producers and directors to get an easy hump of cash in the wake of the Titanic frenzy that was created 3 years earlier in 1997 in James Cameron’s film.

@captainbest The suction from the Titanic's propellers were able to snap the S.S. New York's mooring lines in Southampton. A man of average strength and build would have no hope of out swimming the Britannic's screws which were still spinning at full speed. Despite the fact that they were out of the water, he still would have been drawn in by the suction and totally blended. But it is hard to understand why he did not atleast try to save himself despite pretty well no chance of survival.
