after i read the comment about the competitive version of the globetrotters i just wouldnt call them the same team cause the ones who entertain the crowd rather than score points are the team ill always love best :)

A few years ago they were actually planning on doing a game with the one of the championship teams; I don't think they got it together; but it would be fun to watch; they are actually really great basketball players and some of them have actually turned down NBA carrears to play with the globetrotters and some of the globetrotters have moved on to play on NBA teams.

Man, Boo Johnson is like 44 at this point. The Harlem Globetrotters are not like "The Good Ole Days". They have a competitive team too.
