If Hollywood made a movie about a radical populist who fights an uphill battle against the entrenched interests that inhibited progress for so long - don't you think they'd come up with a scene exactly like this here:
The candidate looks tired, even sick. His voice is hoarse, fails him at times. But he speaks with such passion, conviction, and resolve that he still gets his crowd of supporters cheering and screaming at the middle of the night.
An election, not an auction, not a coronation.
