He did a whole concept album with this guy J-Zone called Boss Hog Barbarians. It's comical, but there's also a wide range of topics. Even "The Gatalog" has some topicals ("Political Gangstas" for example)

nigga.....nigga, i've listened to celph titled............extensively. he is a good rapper don't get me wrong.....but he ain't better than bank$. he does have more punchlines, but more punchlines does not =better. punchlines alone do not define a rapper. celph mainly raps about outlandish crazy unrealistic isht, like grenades and bazookas and whatnot which is funny, but his content is limited to that theme.

you'll never hear celph rap about something about life or just something regular, his whole style relies on shock rap and crazy unrealistic subjects, now if that's your preference then fine, but you have to listen to bank$ 5 and better series b4 you judge him. i've listened to celph's gatalog and he is a good rapper no doubt, hilarious punchlines, but his overall content is shallow. im not gonna say that bank$ content is extremely broad, but it's def broader than celph lol.

@TeflonDon773 I agree that on the outside, Celph just seems like an outrageous punchline rapper, but he actually has a ton of concept/topic material, it just gets overlooked by all the hype his fans put out there about his punchlines. He did a whole concept album with this guy J-Zone called Boss Hog Barbarians. It's comical, but there's also a wide range of topics. Even "The Gatalog" has some topicals ("Political Gangstas" for example)

i have to disagree about celph having a "ton" of concept material, that just ain't true. i've listened to alot of his shit, and at one point celph was the only rapper i was listening to and i don't recall a "ton" of concept material. he has a unique style and i like aotp and demigodz music, but the fact is that celph has limited content. political gangstas is not topical either, it just has a few "political references". like i said b4 celph never raps about real life.

Maybe I was wrong by saying "tons" of concept material, but as I said, the Boss Hog Barbarians album is an entirely conceptual album and it's got like 16 songs. To be honest though, I'm extremely bored by rappers that rap about real life...I want to escape when I listen to rap, not ponder deep thoughts about real life.
