AcneFree has different systems. I know that they have a severe acne treatment and a mild acne treatment which is the original so I advise you to get the original. The bottles are white.

u have to use the 3rd step in the morning and the last step at night for scars and u have to take of ur makeup before u cleanse did u even read the directions

@nicholeme Apply a thin layer of it on the affected area. Unlike Proactive which tells you to put it all over your face. Hope that helps.

I've ben using proactive for about a week and my acne is about completely gone. I love PROACTIV by proactive can dry out th skin so yu should use a good mosturizer. I use the proactive mosturizer, it works but it isnt so good. Now I us Neutragena Sensitve Skin Moisturizer.

Well I have been using proactive for about 2 years and it has worked really well for me besides the occasional breakout around that time of the month. Pro active really works. i used to have real bad breakouts when i was 18. and it worked well for me. and i ve been using it since.well, i still have breakouts sumtimes but its not severe. once i stopped using it and i had little acne here n there again. pro active s not perfect but it is worth a try. i ve had frens who got clear skin in sum weeks and few other for whom it didnt work that well. but hey, it worked for me :)

i used to use proactiv, but when i put the 3rd step on my chin...in the morning, my chin would be so red, and id get tons of little bumps, and it'd be dry & very very itchy. i guess a normal allergic reaction. i just started using AcneFree today..hopefully it works!

I had the same problem with Proactiv. I used the AcneFree before I started using Proactiv and I have to say it's the only thing that cleared up my skin (and I had it BAD!) I tried Proactiv thinking it might be a little better than Acne Free...It did NOTHING. As a matter of fact it made my face super oily. Proactiv may work for some people but I wouldn't suggest trying Proactiv before you try Acne Free

i love that acne free set. the severe kit works well. Wal-mart also sells an acne spot cream and a Severe foaming wash that also is really good. with the foaming wash, a little goes a long way; also with the cleanser that comes with the kit, if you wet your hands and then rub the cleanser it also foams (more like a foaming cream wash versus a foaming wash). for those wondering about the retinol cream in the kit, it does add a lil' moisture to the skin when the skin is feeling a lil' drier.

Don't use the repairing lotion twice a day. Use it at night only. Morning wash your face with the cleasner and apply a oil control lotion. Then at night wash again and used the toner and repairing lotion. Acnefree did dry my face, but I used a lush moisturize like Estee Lauder, Clinque or Mary kay timewise lotion. Over sometime the dryness decreased and my skin got used to it. Now my skin in soooo smooth. I love it!

i have mild/morderate acne in have acne in t-zone area(mostly forehead) so yeah proactive is better then acne free
