Brenda Dickson- was great as Jill! I wonder why she was replaced? The newer Jill, well I never felt the same about her. I love these early Kay Chancellor clips- this scene is classic and sad too. Kay really can act!

Jeanne Cooper is so amazing and this scene shows just what a class act she was then and still is today, though the show doesn't have the great dialog and storylines like it had back then!

I am glad somebody found these classic clips of Jill Foster played by Brenda Dickerson. She played the part better than anybody in my opinion.. Thanx 4 sharing these classic clips.

"The Young and The Restless" from 1983-1987, the years when Brenda Dickson returned as Jill in the Alexis Carrington vein, were the best years of this show!!!!!

It was good to see Brenda back in the role (Debrah Adiar just didn't own it), but to be honest, I think the best years with Brenda in that role were throughout the 70's IMO. Even though Y&R has always been a good show (soap), I think it got even better in the late 80's/early to mid 90's with the introduction of new characters such as Cassandra Rawlins, Leanna Love, Rex, Dru, Neil, Cole and of course the villians (David Kimble, Shelia Carter, Matt Clarke).
