thanks. Training JRT should be easy if you train it young.

Important rules are:

Never shout at your dogs

Give treats

Use Happy tones

Make sure she know you are the boss

Excessive hand to body contacts, etc: pat her on the head, scratch her stomach/chest, stroke her back.

Make sure you do not like what she doing is wrong. Get her attention, SAY NO and point at the cable if she is chewin it, keep doing it till she shy away.

We never had to train my Jack Russell to do the "beg" stance. He sometimes sits in front of the dining room window (waiting for us to come home) and sits in that position looking out for several minutes at a time. Really cute!

My dog used to do that when it came to food. But sadly he cant do it anymore. After he got hit by a truck his back legs are just strong enough to walk. He cant even lift his leg up to pee anymore!

Hehe I have 2 jack russels. One does a similar stance to this one on her hind legs. The other seems to sit up right and holds his paws like this.

i am a 12 year old girl and i hav 4 jrt's and one of them is called lilly and she is mad lol the others are called molly buddy and buster. they are amazing dogs and i love them to peices. and it looks like u look after your jrt.

I love Jack Russells. Read somewhere that they are big dogs in small dogs' bodies. Sweethearts who will depend their homes til the last.

lili is a darling, I too have a JRT and they are the BEST dogs ever.
