i have the same problem,its very common. just keep doing them and eventually you wont have that problem.

Make sure your weight is over the board, and not commiting too hard to flipping so that you jump out of the way. just gotta jump straight up and down. i used to have the same problem. Now i get a good catch but they always turn backside like 45-90. Anyone wanna advice me? haha
