Thing about the likes of LD is that they could be a tad near the knuckle but they didn't need to resort to outright filth in order to get a laugh! The BBC are currently banging on about having to make budget cuts & that BBC2 will broadcast more repeats.Well,here's a thought for the powers that be,repeat The Les Dawson Show.I know LD has been repeated on UK Gold,but at least on the Beeb we wouldn't have the interruptions of commercial breaks every 5 minutes.You're sorely missed,Les.

I have just published an e-book on Amazon Kindle ‘Les Dawson’s Cissie and Ada’, which contains many of the original scripts. Just love how Les Dawson just has to walk in as Ada to get a laugh. It reminds me so much of Benny Hill as Fredd Skuttle.
