I think, personally, that it's hard to judge all the different versions of this (e.g. Lambert, Buble, GM, Simone) because they all have their own emotional experiences that they are projecting on the song and so they all have different feels and I like them all for their different emotional nuances.

As far as male versions go, I'm with the Bubles here. I like George, but he CAN sounds like a glorified karaoke singer. Adam Lambert just OVERSINGS it ...PERIOD!. listened to all the versions of this song and I think Adam Lambert by far has the best vocals, all the arrangements are basically the same but Adam puts the emotion into the song that he actually is Felling good. Just my opinion. Isn't it great to have such a diverse range of likes and dislikes. I wonder how many of y'all realize this song is ORIGINALLY from the broadway musical "Roar of the Greasepaint/Smell of the Crowd" by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

Another case of a pop singer(s) having a hit with a song from broadway. It sure has been dormant for a long time. I think the original show was in '64. In the show the song is a completely different style & arrangement, of course. Buble is my personal fave, but who can argue with GM? Not me.
