  • I like hearing all different versions of this song, because it makes me feel soooooooooooooooo gooddddddddddddd.

  • oh ... right ... well YEAH !!! Boy done good !

  • muse were cool but nina is the best.

  • he doesnt like george micheal

  • вот это звезда... голос который взял часть фанатов песни у Нины Симон и MUSE

  • Everybody just shut up and listen to the song. Idc who's a better singer.

  • I love George <3....... Prayer for Him..

  • Eli Stone Brought me to this version.

  • @soopernikko same here

  • I like the Muse version.

  • Lambert definitely has an incredible voice, but I prefer Sinatra Jr's version of this song.

  • This should be a James Bond movie theme song... it's mighty righteous.

  • I think, personally, that it's hard to judge all the different versions of this (e.g. Lambert, Buble, GM, Simone) because they all have their own emotional experiences that they are projecting on the song and so they all have different feels and I like them all for their different emotional nuances.

  • Adam Lambert ,by far, beats anyone else singing this song. He's fresh, passionate and has a vocal range that is up there with the best of them.

  • good feeling!:)

  • nice....but nina simone's is just perfect...

  • Bublé kicks GM's arse....

  • @DK101GT Only on this song! George has much higher range. I LOVE both of these singers though. Check out George Michael doing "They Wont Go When I Go" by Stevie Wonder. Even if you aren't a GM fan, check it out and become a GM fan! ;)

  • Nina Simone. Nuf said

  • This is good, but no matter how many covers there may be, there's no beating the Original.

  • George says himself: He cannot even compare to Nina Simone. This is a good version, but Nina's version is even better. BTW, Nina's is also a cover. :P

  • Buble is just a 100% mimic of Frank Sinatra. He is nothing original and is no where as good as Frank. Or anyone else for that matter.

  • i really got to say this george michael rocks this song ..........adam lambert is good with all his cocky high pitch notes ...but wait a minute the feel can only be ignited by dear george michael sorry lambert you make ur own song with ur own lyrics

  • ummm... didnt nina simone do the original?

btw she does it with the most soul making her better!

  • I like Michael Bublés version more.

  • Quite good this one, like it. My personal fav is definitely MUSE...;-)

  • Muse do an amazing cover of this. George's version is exactly that, and I get it, it's cool x

  • Nina Simone's version is the easiest to dance to. I like this one, though.

  • Michael Buble turns it into an incredible Jazz song. Adam makes it a perfect Rock version. GM just sings it in his style.

And they are all great !

  • G.Michael is one of the best recording voices in history!!

  • in my opinion this is the second best version ..Michael buble's version tops this .. buble's version has more of a culmination part , This version does that but not as much - thats the only reason i think this way. Muse's version is just weird. The original i think isnt as good prolly 3 outa 4 and Adam Lambert does like a rock weird retarded vocal maniac version ... worse then muse's ...

    1.Buble

    2.George

    3.Nina

    4.Muse

    5.Lambert's weird maniac version

  • @DhAoZz Nina 3rd? youre kidding right? She's the only one who has ANY true emotion in this.

    Buble, Gtfo man. srsly.

  • @DhAoZz muse is awesome for putting a rock spin on it

  • Nina Simone should be the only one who ever sang this song

  • i LOVE him singing this song....

  • this is better than every version

  • This is the best STRIPPER music. Try it !

  • I really like George Michael, but it gives the song

a double power when Adam Lampert sings.

    Excuse me, but it's true.

  • Much better than Bublé... but Nina rules.

  • sounds good....i' m curious how robbie w' s sounds

  • Buble is good, micheal is good as well , but compared to Nina Simone's version the both fall short.

  • Not as good as Muse's version.

  • Comment removed

  • i like michael buble's version more!:P george michael's version is cool but I like the other one more:P

  • GM is freaking great!

  • i have heard a lot of different versions of this song and i don't like the original by that brodway guy. no opera.. plz no. i really like this one and the one done by muse. i dont know why these to jus sound better and feel right. michael bubles is ok and adam lamberts is good. but George Michael's and Muse's version of this song is better in my opinion.

  • That perfect musical ear he has. WOW. I love how he improvises and makes this oldie so fresh sounding. Definitely one of the most talented singers of his generation.

  • PLEASE CHECK OUT MY COVER OF THIS SONG AND MY OTHER COVERS....DONE IN THE STYLE OF MICHAEL BUBLE...

RATE, ADD, COMMENT AND SUBSCRIBE TOO IF YOU LIKE :)

    THANKS :) XOX

  • love this its such a shame i cant get hold of it in the uk :( bad times x

  • muse covered this and it dumps all over it from a great hieght !!!!

  • this is good love the first part but micheal is the best for the classic version!!!!

  • As far as male versions go, I'm with the Bubles here. I like George, but he CAN sounds like a glorified karaoke singer. Adam Lambert just OVERSINGS it ...PERIOD!. Something psycho-aesthetic here...but I don't think Gay Men do 'swagger' well !!! And I'm gay man . Buble is believeable at the old Swing King thang and the stately Nina Simone is of course BEYOND parallel.

  • For those saying "this is better" or "this is worse" than Nina Simone - listen to what George himself says about that at 2:08

  • NOT GOOD AS MATT BELLAMYYYYYYY

  • Adam Lambert?????????????

AHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH Maybe is the best cover ever.

    Muse has the best cover.

  • That's what i mean ;) feel Good

  • no no no noooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!! the best is Matt Bellamy no Bublé

  • Now this is perfection. Even though the tempo has been sped up a bit, perfection. After all, it's George Michael.

  • I am sooo in love!!! check nout the right vibe ------------- get in there mayey boy xx

  • the best version!!!

  • He has a better vioce then simone but he dont get all tones right

  • @coolexaras What a contradiction! Have you thought about this statement? Actually I think this version is pretty good. By all means it's very enjoyable to listen to and George surely hits ALL the good tones as he always does with no exception. Some people obvously find it very hard to accept that the original version of a song can be beaten.

  • is best muse

  • scot wisniewski------ check his out-- guy can belt but he's not serious enough...

  • Nina Simone- followed by Beck-- with the Trifecta of Adam Lambert... Bet you didn't know that one?

  • great version, better than Michael Buble's one indeed.

  • George Michael's version is the best, just my opinion. He has a fantastic voice...

  • I likes Muse, then Danyl Johnsons, the Michaels and then this. I don't like he freestyle acapella are the start. Then it just goes the same as Bubles.

  • He's not even in top 5 here.. Simone,Beck,Lambert,Buble and some guy with his own page, Scott something. There. That's top 5...... I'd be #1 but I don't have my own studio...

  • Nina Simone's rendition is still the best though George's version is good.

  • Yup, Nina Simone owns this version and even George admits it.

I do like his version, though. George rules.

  • Even Georgie himself will admit Nina rules -- get an education kids

  • nobody tops nina simone, sorry guy´s

    this nothing- nothing

  • who is she?

  • @gmm369 Well, Nina Simone is one of the first singers who recorded this song in the 60's. This song was written for a musican in 1965.

  • sorry - nobody tops "Muse" forthisone x

  • actually, heard Ninas, and Muse's and Danyl Johnson's is better.

  • listened to all the versions of this song and I think Adam Lambert by far has the best vocals, all the arrangements are basically the same but Adam puts the emotion into the song that he actually is Felling good. Just my opinion. Isn't it great to have such a diverse range of likes and dislikes. That's what make this world so great, the right to have your own opinion and allowing others to do the same....Peace Out......Embrace diversity for without it there would be no creativity

  • @mamdt3 Adam LAmber, who is he??????????????? GM version rules...sorry...im sure im not alon on this one...

  • @gmm369 Can't we enjoy them both ????

  • @gmm369 BTW, just get to the 21st century and you will know who Adam is :)

  • @mamdt3 You lost all credibility when you said "Adam Lambert by far has the best vocals". Have you even heard of Nina Simone's version? Go back to your American Top 40, bubblegum pop and manufactured money-making music.

  • @mamdt3 I completely agree, can't beat Adam Lambert.

    <3

  • @mamdt3 Well, Lambert sings well, but he used Muse's arrangement, so in my opinion, the credit still goes to Muse...

  • not as good as bublé

  • @JustCallumSmells disagree........buble has no passion when he attemps to sing this

  • @gmm369 I disagree, kind of. I love Buble's version of this because the way he sings it, I agree he has no passion, but I still love his version best.

  • @bigboss58 i like buble's version and georges they sing it in their own way.

  • @lilacvision100 there is a great way to put it. Now that I think of it, there is no best, because someone else will hold a different version in higher regards.

  • @bigboss58 I totally agree with you i like both versions. 2 great talented men.

  • @gmm369 who said buble versions good very weak singer the big band carry him very over rated

  • @gmm369 have to disagree with the 'no passion' thing

buble carries lots of charisma and passion. The 'whom sings it better' ends up being a thing of personal taste. They both sing it very well and make it their own - which is what great musicians/singers do -

  • @gmm369 This is much better than Bublé, but Muse does it best.

  • @gmm369

Soz, but I agree with JustCallumSmells

Buble's voice is steadier and more suited to this song, imho

  • @gmm369 that and the fact buble uses auto tuner and mimes, he has no talent

  • @gmm369 buble has no passion when he sings it? From the start of the song he's putting emotion into it. George Micheal has the juice but Buble has the pulp

  • @Zer0CoolPlus1 YES Zer0CoolPlus1 i totally agree! XD

  • @gmm369 Lol, I just needed to laugh at that he sings with no passion you can't be serious. I like both versions, but let's be honest here the version of Nina Simone is the best version. Even the lyrics of George Michael say "a white man, can't do it like [she(/Nina Simone)] can."

  • @JustCallumSmells not as good as the MUSE version

  • got this on his live DVD and it just blows me away, George live is the King

    thank you

  • Awesome!!! He is just as good as Nina Simone herself! XD

  • wow that gave me goose bumps george you rock :)

  • The BEST!!!

  • i like buble so much and gorge is really good to but i just think that muses version really showed the power and beauty of the song . matts voice was made to sing that song . nina somon was really good to it allways makes a tinglerling down my back when i hear it

  • this is my favourite George's song *.*

  • @MrMrkfuk one of my FAV's aswell.....Thank You

  • @MrMrkfuk nice, but it's not his song, just his version of it, anyway I like the way he sings it too

  • @cc8277

well I know, I obv mean his version of the song

  • Awesome. Love his Vocals and Skills.

    One of the best Singers.

  • @BUweB i agree

  • facet jestes zajebisty !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • adam's version is the best, no question about it, and is the only one where i can bielieve that is really feeling good :)

  • @OvyS320 Have you heard Nina Simone's version? I personally think hers is still the best.

  • Siempre magnifico!!!

  • No one, does this better, than mr George Michael, he has an amazing voice!!!

  • Woow What a supprise to me..I love this song-soooo much..I heard few versions-but I never hear George.M. Michael Bublee is my favourite!!..I also sing this song on my profile in my version..Bye :)

  • I think it would have sounded better ten years ago, on Songs From The Last Century.

Back then, his voice was not as much affected from smoking as it is nowadays.

  • Wow, way to go george!

  • George Michael is amazing... I love this version and Adam Lamberts :)

    xxxxx

  • Adam Lambert basically copied MUSE'S version, THIS version is my fave!

  • No he didnt... his vocals were INCREDIBLE!!!! much stronger than any other version ive heard... in my opinion... :)

  • He's not just man candy, he's got a great voice. I don't think a lot of people are fully aware; this is a great song to illustrate.

  • Muse is very good at this but Michael Buble is the best hands down.

  • amen

  • I second that!

  • Sorry , but you can`t compare muses voice with that of George Michael...I mean there`s such a big difference....George Michael`s voice is so pure so strong....I think he sang it fantastic...

  • oh and muse has an amazing cover. it was the first one i heard and i love it

  • this is great, i'm not gonna lie, but i don't like the phrasing that much, maybe it's just me, but the accents seem a little too weird

  • muse kick ass

  • I have a soft spot for George Michael's voice. I personally prefer the version by Muse but GM's voice caresses your ear so gently...

  • I think the Muse version sounds better than this. But this one stays more true to the original

  • AMAZING AS ALWAYS-SO COOL GEORGE-MICHAEL (lol)

  • the only REAL version!

  • What? Have you heard of Nina Simone?

  • this is the best version

  • i love nina simone and michael buble versions. because they are totaly..jazzy. I love that swing, that base. ok, GM have a great voice, but the music line is bad

  • He's good. He did what he could. But this song is not for George Michaels timbre. It needs more bass. Buble is clearly a better (best?) fit.

  • i agree about the bass but i think muse's cover is the best!

  • oh my god i love this man i do love him.....he have best voice ever his voice just like a wind on the tries ....

  • Comment removed

  • omg the best voice ever

    george's version is cool

    love him!!!!!!!!!!!

  • go george !!!!!Your voice is the best!!!!!!!!!!

  • I really love your voice George

  • i like u george u are the best

  • nice song i loved it so much.

  • E L I S T O N E

  • Michael is a gorgeous singer, but i prefer Michael Bubble's cover

  • i completly agree with you ;)

  • Beautiful Voice, simply.

  • does anyone have this song, please could you send this to me? sorry that sounds really cheeky :)

  • shoot me an email, ill gladly send you a mp3 of it. Thank You...do you have any rare gm stuff...?

  • got a rare version of star people, only given to fan club members, crazyman dance. thankyou very much by the way :)

  • very nice

  • THE best version of this song. Soulful, harmoneous and utterly magical to listen to!!

  • is better muse

  • vio ur wrong!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • he is awesome...but not straight...major shame!!

  • haha agreed

  • Not everybody's opinion...

  • If I had been born about fifteen years earlier, I would have had the BIGGEST crush on him!

  • I wonder how many of y'all realize this song is ORIGINALLY from the broadway musical "Roar of the Greasepaint/Smell of the Crowd" by Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse.

Another case of a pop singer(s) having a hit with a song from broadway. It sure has been dormant for a long time. I think the original show was in '64. In the show the song is a completely different style & arrangement, of course. Buble is my personal fave, but who can argue with GM? Not me.

  • I read its from the Twenty-Five set, but its not on mine for some reason! That's a shame, this is a really good song.

  • It was released on the 2 Disc US Version, if that helps.

  • agree, what a golden voice, he touches inside with his voice, best jazz singer, buble sounds like a baby compared to gm.

  • I think GM is doing an amazing job! I really think it is just as good (if it isn´t bet´ter) than the original! George can just sing everything no matter what it is and turn it to gold!!

  • I love this Version!

I think George Michael did it very well (:

  • i prefer the buble version, this ones alright.

  • why thats not a official single,I know this song from elli stone !!!

  • ok.... um theres a Nina Simon version (original from the 50's - 60's), Michael Bublé (the next remake around the early 2000), Muse was next idk wen that was, and George Michael/Eli stone

  • a bunch of the covers came out in 1965 as well as the original sung by Gilbert Price in the play someone else mentioned

  • Muse did not originally sing this song. However, I like both Muse's version and this version.

On the other hand, this version is far more classy and 'swayish'.

  • this is beautiful and very spiritual - it's inspiring!
