I have never in my life heard that bending the left arm ,for righties, will add power.I am not sold please explain why.Don't you lose your arc width and there for club head speed.Obviously the rear arm bends 90 degrees, that is a must, but the lead arm?Arm you saying that the unbending of both arms causes more leverage?
In what way does sitting on a stool help your golf swing? And why would you want your left arm to be bent? (Right players) Tke a look at all the LD-pros and you'll notice everyone has a straight left arm.
this guy has noooooooooooooooo flexibility and thats where the power comes from not only that when you bend your arm like that you loose accuracy. that makes no sense on how that promotes more club head speed.
Relax. I was one of the only ones defending your teachings, so why the hate? Doesn't make one want to buy your Power Stool (which is a hilarious name, btw) or the Shuggy.
These naysayers have obviously never looked into nor tried Lever Power Golf. Bending your left arm DOES create more distance by adding a longer lever- simple science. I am just as long with a bent-arm, arms-only swing as I was with traditional mechanics, and I could bomb it.
Keeping width in your swing is key to generating power, your increasing the length of the pendulum so therefore the tip moves faster. Bending your arm decreases the width so its a flawed technique. The arms and hands should remain passive, the power is generated by he body turn. This is utter utter rubbish...
I am sorry but this is a terribly flawed technique. The speed of the club head comes from weight transfer and i do not see how putting your wieght on your ass can posibly help you improve your drive. Sorry Chap.
And wouldn't using MORE arms/hands and LESS body result in a weaker impact? Because you would un-cock your wrists earlier in downswing if your body is close to being idle?!?...
Could you possibly explain how and why the tour players (Bubba, Tiger etc) hit it as long as they do? To give an example of one tour player would be ideal.
I saw an ad in the OZ Golf Digest which lead me to your site and a search on You Tube 4 sum videos and answers?
I bend my left arm. So do pros. Just slightly though.
If you bend it more you have less stability but that doesnt mean you wont be hitting the fairway.

the only thing is the slower your swing the farther the ball will go, so you really dont want alot of club head speed

Just be careful to not rip off Jack Kuykendall.
