We drove 13 hours from Michigan waited in line from about 7 a.m., and had the time of our lives. There was NOTHING on earth could have kill our rock boners. I hear ya though, I could've gone without anyone introducing Metallica, but until I read this comment I had never thought twice about having Chris Rock up there.

You know, all of these music fests boast the "diversity" of the bands and fans yet Bonnaroo was the 1st one to ever have metal bands play, let alone headline. Lollapalooza did it first but as the years have gone on even they haven't had any heavy bands until last years w/ NIN & RATM. I give props to Bonnaroo for having the guts to have Mettalica and Mastadon on. And as far as the hippies go, life isn't all puppies and rainbows. Deal. The rest of us do.
