P1 is getting from Best..Bad to worse in jB century garden area now, after I subscribe for 9 month..the speed is like a dead snail now after the "Potong potong" ads appeared. I think they ask ppl to cut P1 instead of streamyx....I will cut it off for sure..feel cheated by P1....

my light is always green on the modem. I used to have extremely fast speeds. the downgrade in speed has NOTHING to do with the 19th floor... this is one of those myths around wimax. the reason for slower speed is not enough bandwidth and too much users... after they launched the 49 RM attack. this is factual, since we have been measuring the speed from day 1 at this location and the GPS location of my appartment has not changed... or sunken / risen ...

p1 is crap. the fastest speed is 2.4mbps but it depends on the coverage and you have a bandwith cap, stremayx is better because you can get 4mbps steady connection plus it's cheaper @ RM288!. p1 is exspensive

they do have great coverage with their purple advertising on the roads in klang valley :) i hope their network and bandwidth becomes as powerful as their advertising, otherwise what is the message they are sending ?

i would compare the p1 (mostly, it seems to be improving lately) something like a waterfall : sometmies you got a lot of water falling, something just few drippings... maybe it has to do with the 200 user maximum capacity of the basestations, that cannot swallow all the 49 rm users or maybe people are simply eating all the bandwidth by downloading p2p bit torrent ? nevertheless they should give you what you pay for. fair usage, fair coverage.

im p1 w1max ex-resseler and user.. its suck.. speed is very slow.. 1st month only u get excelent speed.. 2nd month speed will down to 200kbps and upload is 100kbps.. its realy suck.. dont use p1 wimax..!!!!

what are you talking about. the signal on my modem is green and it has a connection. but some times there is something wrong with the overloaded number of users in the base-station in sentul it seems. it's certainly not a problem of locally no coverage... it's a problems of throttling, no more dhcp users, i think. no way to know because i don't run that system. i am just saying it works 90% procent of the time. sometimes it is very slow...
