I used to stand at that EXACT crossing back when I was a kid, just on the other side of the tracks from the camera's position. Back then, the crossing signal in the foreground didn't have the outgrowth of lights pointing to the left, and there were no e-bells. But I remember hearing those exact same horns. If you were lucky the train would have mid-train helpers as well as helpers on the rear. Thanks for the memories!

actually Rrxingrick you do not need the update package to get the engines.you just need the cascades crossing route from maple leaf tracks they come with the route.I know because i have the route and it is an incredible route,one of the best MSTS routes available.

Do you have pics of the old signalage, mainly the bridges where Rte. 60 crosses over the tracks, Most of the signals between Loma Linda and Redlands, and everything from Beaumont to Yuma. Everything must be from before UP's signal upgrades. I need the old SP signalage. If you got pics, Then you got a happy coustomer.

Hey check out Video Rail's Beaumont Hill video it shows many signal locations and its before UP in the Espee age. But i think it mainly has searchlight sigs on that route.

Have the video, Alot of my info comes from that video along with High Ball's version of Beaumont hill. They still leave out the signals for EB traffic where the tracks cross under Hwy 60. They mannage to barely get the WB signals at that location but the shot is taken from California Ave. In that same shot, they get a descent view of the EB Signal bridge at the crossovers. The completely leave out the WB signal bridge. After that, they gat absolutely no more signals untill Cabazon. Lots missing.

check out google maps, somtimes you could see the shadow of the signal becuase i was looking at the siding it Phelan and was able to see seachlight signals 4 the siding

This part of the line is going to be about 2001. I have made it a little custom though, as you can see, the the closest Griswold signal has a side light set, it did not in 2001. And then you'll notice 3 tracks, but there was 2 in 2001. But for the most part, 2001. Thanks.
