Shocking! I used to live in Linwood. I believe the shopping centre is still owned by some bizness cartel that is still picking up rent from the council, this was some agreement that goes back to when the car plant was still running , so these people (banks?) have no interest in maintenance ! outragous!!!
I remember coming down here with my gran. I cant believe there gonna throw away the reason that Linwoods shops are called the village. I dont want some poxy tesco! why cant they just re buile the shopping centre!?
That saddens me so much. I remember when the shops were open, and walking down there with my mum. Me and my cousin used to play on those benches (0:51 seconds, I think). We'd go down there and have something to eat from the bakery, and I'd always pester my mum for a kids magazine...
A sad, unneccesary loss. No wonder everyone's moving out of Linwood.
