Act Of Mercy i don't understand, think it's why i didn't get the trophy after just finished my 3rd run

What convo points do you select BEFORE you leave the cave????

I'm in the cave talking with the mages, am i supposed to tell them everything's fine then double cross them when i exit, am i forcing them out (but won't they resist exiting thus removing the post-cave cutscene?) if i pick the humour choice that's not very Templarish, i don't know what to do :(

Wow did I screw this up. I assumed there was going to be 5 choices at the end of the game, similar to how you chose a king in Origins. I'll have to do two more playthroughs. The game was good, but after two more playthroughs...?

elves had strange "british/scottish" accents did they? lol actually merrill and a few others were welsh and there were some irish accents thrown in too

I love how labeling an innocent templar as an abomination counts as being a "Pro-Templar" decision. They might as well have named it "Mage Hunter- Be a total asshole to innocents 5 times".

Actually, the Dalish elves are given Welsh accents. And that's what they sound like in real life. I once met a Scottish person who thought I was badly imitating him -_-. I can't tell you how many times someone has attempted to convince me that my accent is fake.

Well they aren't even pro-Templar half the time. I mean saving an innocent templar from being wrongfully condemned as a blood mage and letting a powerful mage go to Tavinter and remove him as a threat to the templars are seen as being "pro-templar"

Spoilers at the end of this text, if you haven't finished the game, don't read this:

I must admit, I hate playing mage in this game, mostly because of Carver, he's an arse, plain and simple. After Anders, the most hated character in DA 2 by me. Anders comes first however, Bioware totally destroyed him, I liked him alot in awakening, he has humor, now he has none. this is why I always choose the kill option in the end, I hate him.

@Fallerup That is true Anders is full of hate in this game, but if you go back an play awakenings and listen carefully, there are times Anders comes out with a hatefull coment or a sadend tone. Not to mention loosing his cat would have soured his personality somewhat. I'm not saying I like the change but I do understand it. Poor disturbed mage.

@xNarranHitsugayax I see now that I have done it. The wording in the vid was confusing. Only one companion was seduced by the dark side when I did the mission. Anders is a great choice.

i just got the arcane defender a few hours ago. when i checked the trophy description it just says 5 times siding with the mages. i had no idea how this 5 times are calculated. thanks alot.

Do the two Companions leave you after Night Terrors no matter what? Assuming you are doing the Mage Hunter one?
