  • no best job

  • Hi ! Synchronisme en vol (3). watch this !

  • what is the upper age limit to join the Canadian Air Force?

  • @jorgemdllin 17

  • "The Hammer is my penis"

  • this video is still inspirational...

  • I love to fly the F/A-18 in FSX already learned the cockpit by heart, startup procedures and checks :D When I finish high school I will enlist in the Canadian Forces, after basic unit training I will go to the airforce, hope I get to fly the F-18 if it is still in service

  • @laprepa666 well were supposed to be getting those CF 35s in 2017 so possibly. They wil most likely be still around.

  • Does anyone go out to eat Canadian?

  • @gregrutz i like to eat canadian pussies :)

  • I was thinking...how can anyone dislike this video...and then I saw the comments where Canadians were bragging about having a better military than the Americans, English, and French. You guys have to know this is why the world rolls its eyes at you. Cool video though

  • we do have a small military but we are the fucking shit

  • Yaw left hard

  • what's the second tune on the Video? Great video by the way.

  • @phoenix27flame hi search "creed higher" on youtube

  • @sohcsarewicked Thanks m8! :)

  • what's the title of the second song?

  • Let it go, I just saw in the news the acquisition of the F-35 fleet is official....

  • @Ofionnain damn i was all for that at the start then i did some reaserch and found out wed be better off buying su35bm, su 37 and t-50 cheaper and better also features thrust vecturing and stealth technology and also highly manuverable can be equiped with any kind of weapons u want and when u equip the fuel tanks they have the ability to go 8000km without refueling also srry for te spelling mistakes too lazy to correct them

  • @CanadianN00b I hope they get the CF-18 Superhornet instead, I don't think the CF-35 are the best choice...

  • @Ofionnain the F35's dont have a canadian designation yet.. for all we know they could be called the cf 187's... but that aside we only got 65 of them and they are a fantastic choice for a fighter after reading up on them. the only fighter better in the world would be the f22 raptor but they cost WAY too much. I didnt like the choice for f35's at first but you (like me) will begin to love them!

  • Im American and i agree that Canada haas a bettter air force than us...Thanks to the vast spaces in Canada :)

  • i loved the F-18 but i think we should produce OUR planes ,like the arrow ,was awsum and yet usa went into it..........lets makes OUR planes and rule with them

  • @nicotipro1 ROFLMFAO?!?!? Stick to what you know Canada!....and it ain't building fighters!!! Slapshots and drinking are more your speed.

  • @MegaTondog after world war 2 we built a fighter jet that took the US & the rest of the world 50 years to catch up with. building fighters is exactly our speed.

  • @nicotipro1 right on buddy. couldn't agree more. if sweden can make there own jets we sure as hell can too.

  • @CanadianN00b yeah lol

  • note that the picture at the start is CT-133 Silver Star

  • MrSupparFly;

On Canadian Hornets we put an NCM's name on the right side of the jet. "The Hammer" was a Chief Warrant Officer in 441 Sqn and believe me he earned his call sign.

    Craner

  • Comment removed

  • what are the qualifications before to become a jet pilot?

  • @6digit a shit load of luck, a shit load of hard work and a shit load of studying! watch the show jetstream, it will give you a look into it, but remember its a version for the public and doesnt really show exactly how hard it is

  • Bring in the F-35 baby!!!!!!!

  • for those who said "the hammer" is a Cheif warrant officier or a nco, you have to be an officer to be a pilot in the airforce

  • @MrSupparFly his name is on the right hand side of A/C the pilot's on the left. "the cheif" AKA the hammer is an NCM. technicians (NCM's) are often put on the side of A/C as well. we are part of the "TEAM"

  • this is my dream

  • Saw the hornet fly at Markham May 18. Everyone was scared because it was so loud. Such an awesome jet.

  • Hi whats the second tune in the clip? I like it!

  • canada has the best air force

  • WHO is thorney! Explain the story please!

  • i dont have 20/20 but my eyes arnt bad like 20/70 i think, is that good enough?

  • @ymechaiekh, No you need 20/20... I did LASIK custom wavefront surgery so I could become a pilot, I now have 20/20

  • damn you needed Lasic? i was born with perfect eyes!!!!!!! Haw Haw!!

  • How Long Can Those Planes Stay In The Air Before Running Out Of Fuel?

  • How could you not know the name of this song? do you live under a rock?

  • beautiful day by U2?

  • whats with the checkerboard pattern? are we painting them all that way? :D

  • Stalk And Kill!

  • i cant wait tell im done school i want to do thisn

  • :42-:45 I didn't know Warrant Officers could fly jets. I know the Army lets them fly Helicoptors but thats it. Can anyone explain this?

  • I think the name on the right side of the a/c is the Crew Chief, not the pilot. Later in the video there is a name in the same position with the rank of 'Pte'.

    Just a theory.

  • @mattcu77615 The "Hammer" was the Cheif warrant officier (most senior non-commisioned membre) of the squadron at that time. The Pte's was his idea. The pilots' names are found on the left side of the cockpit.

  • Thats not WO, Thats CWO as in the squadron cheif. And the sqn put the name of certain tech's on the right side of the A/C and the pilots are on the left. It was an award to have ur name on the side of a plane at one time

  • What the F*** are they in at time 8:42

  • I'm guessing a US Navy EA-6B Prowler.

  • I think they're in the F-4 Phantom maybe? Or one of Canada's old retired fighters, like the CF-104, CF-101 or the CF-116.

  • Not quite sure where you to the idea that these are retired fighters. These are the CF-18 (CF-188) Hornets of 441 Silverfox TFS 4 Wing CFB Cold Lake Alberta

  • Dude, I never said the CF-18's are retired. If you actually read properly, I said that regarding someone's post, that the planes in some part of the video were probably Canada's OLD retired fighters.

  • Awesome video,thanks for posting 5*

  • i am going to apply thursday i want behind the stick of one of these...i have all the qauls just have to see if the government would trust me with one

  • I went to an airshow many many years ago here in Alberta and the CF-18 took my breath away, I was a kid at the time and wanted to be a pilot and fly one of these birds but it never came to pass.. however I live through it by watching these great vids on youtube.. thanks !

  • this video is really well done, why doesnt it have more hits

  • It would be even better if the Americans would let Canadians buy the F-22

  • F22 cost $185 million each

    F35 cost $ 80 million each

both are multi-purpose fighter jets. I would go for F35; way cheaper!

  • very true, but canada wont retire the cf-18 fro another 10 to 15 years. I just think with such a small air force, it would make more sence to have a jet like the f-22. (if it were possiable), But hey, the (super hornet) would be a good replacement aswell.

  • Yeah, every country wants F-22's. Canada's going to get F-35's when they're going to be produced. Canada won't replace the hornets when the F-35's arrive but they will eventually.

  • love your name toconderoga444 :D Fuck ya man im canadian but cmon thats just fukcing awesome XD

  • lol, ty, yeah, it is fucking awesone. but them hornets are old,its time fr our gov to get something newer (f-22) would be nice, but prob have to settle fr f-35. In 10 to 15 years.

  • Canada will soon decommission the F18 and now considering getting the F35. That must be great, Canada flying an F35.

  • i know it's not all about looks but the f-35 is so ugly

i love the look of the fighters that we've all grown to love f-14, -15 and -18

  • F35 isn't really that ugly looking. I would Canada to own F35 which eventually it will. F18 should be decommission; it's getting older.

  • ahah that jet at 1:20 has been broken for years now

  • 1:20 that is a sick paint job

  • WOW! Exhilarating. Damn these jets are good! This really is an awesome jet. Great video!!

  • 0:27 wonder if he got hit by that truck lol. cant wait to fly one of these things, going through the training in a few months...i hope i can handle it!

  • hey, what exactly do you do to be elligable for training?

  • whats the second song? i really like it and ps canadian pilots are great =D

  • omg thats creed

  • see what counts is the skill in those numbers and canada has very well trained soilgers

  • everything thinks about the numbers in the military the germans outnumbered us big time and we took them are selfs when usa outnumbered them and FAILED. funny ww2 saying

A qoute from WWII armyes. " The Americans are coming Man your Posts. The British are coming prepare to fight. The Canadians are coming................. RUN 4 YOUR LIFE!!!!

  • yo...i wanna b in da canadian air force soooooooooo bad....buh ima only 15 rii now...buh like..if derez n e 1 here...dahtz in ih..would u like recommend me 2 join..like is ih hard like da army ppl...like da boot camps n stuff...cuz i jus wanna geht into da sky..

  • If you want to become an Air Force pilot, SPEAK ENGLISH YOU STUPID CUNT!

  • yo shut up u faggot..

    be4 i pop u...

    bou how i dont noe how 2 speak english r u blind..mayb u should learn 2 read..

  • Before you pop me?

The only thing you can pop is YOUR MOM!

Maybe you should learn to write you bastard!

  • yo w/e

    fuk u guy..

  • Ha. Well it is the truth. First off there is an English examination on the aptitude test. And second, if you walk in to the RC there talking that way there going to laugh at you and send you home. Oh you also need to have your English marks in the 80%+ sooo... good luck.

  • yeah..but i just typ like that...i get good marks in school and everthing..

  • lmao

  • Candadian forces have THE BEST Airforce in the world and many NATO countries send thier pilots here for thier tranning cause were the best!

  • better pilots? not a chance. yank pilots are flying comercial a/c 90% of the time. like the dumbass who bombed our trops in 2002

  • surprised you remember that....that was my friend

  • Comment removed

  • Are you at all aware of how crappy american licenses are. Canadian Pilots are among the best in the world!

  • They send their pilots here because our country is big and empty, only the polar bears and Inuit complain.

  • @paintballerzpro Maybe we have really good pilots and thank god because in terms of effectives we have only 14 500 people... and only 78 CF-18 left in active service... though the transports and helicopters play a much more major role in Afghanistan war.

  • @Ofionnain WHAT?! we bought 138 of them! and we lost about 10 due tu casulties wtf???

  • @paintballerzpro And you think you can fly a USA plane better than the US Airforce?

  • @paintballerzpro - That must be why your pilots come down to train in the states! Jk, we love you canucks, seriously.

  • @aaron8862006 Other than Red Flag and some other joint operations, Canadian CF-18 pilots only train down south in the dead of winter. It's just too cold in Cold Lake to get the hours in. So, they fly down south where the weather is warmer and dryer.

The US Air Force also attends Maple Flag in Canada and our air forces also conduct joint NORAD training in Canada.

  • @paintballerzpro True! Thats why there is the NATO star on the tail of our trainers! :)

  • lol

my other jet is a b-737

  • love the video, and song! :)

  • It is so cute that your mom lets you play with the computer! Although you were born at Israel you might want to check out GoogleEarth. It turns out there is an entire world outside your borders (and limited intellect). We are fighting in Afghanistan today against the same people who would have your country removed from the face of the earth.

  • all tru. well said cf80to01. Marco197507 is truly an ignorant person.

  • Fuk you bud we been in ww1 and ww2 many others and still fighting in afghanistan how fukn rude could you be. We offer the best military training in the world u may laugh but its actually true.

  • Canadian troops are known as some of the best in the world kid. WW1 - We took passchendaele/Vimy Ridge/Ypres/Somme because the Brits and the French couldnt.

WW2 - We took our beach on D-Day faster and with less losses then the Americans and the Brits. We stormed Sicily and pushed the Nazi's all the way back to Naples before we got re enforcements. Korea - We took the least losses than any other allied troops on the ground. Afghanistan - We've killed/Captured more taliban insurgents than any1

  • We as a country are not aggressors, thats why you dont hear about us while you kill innocent women and children in palestine

  • @Saviesti dont forget we help off the japs for over 2 weeks with 1975 soldiers in hong kong,

  • @Saviesti Canada committed less troops than America and Great Brittain in these conflicts. The Canadian military are some of the finest in the world and i'm glad they're on our side.

  • Easier to get in as a pilot in the USAF cause they have a higher intake and requirement for pilots due to more aircraft. That should be no excuse though for you to not to try to join the CF. Since we take in less personnel that means the applicants have to better than your peers at the selection. remember those smiling friends of yours during training is in direct competition for that CF188 seat that you want.

RCAF term died in 1968 when all of our forces were merged into the Canadian Forces.

  • By who

  • how can an Australian join the canadian air force, im not im joining RAAF but im just curious

  • You can't, it is extremely hard for a canadian to join the RCAF as it is. I was actually told by canadian recruters i would be better off trying to get a trade and a college credit so i could get a unlimited green card or a citizenship and join the USAF, i have a better chance at becoming a USAF fighter pilot than a RCAF pilot

  • ive got told different

  • Billybobofcanada: our pilots are expected to be the best, no to offend any americans here but they take anyone you could come out with d's but w.e right hence why everyone even americans, brits, russians etc say our airforce is the best and thats why, we take only the best

  • actually to be a pilot in the cf all you need is a degree from university or college... canadian citizen, 17 years of age...appearently the air force is dying for pilots right now... but it is competittive and hard to get the cf 18...everyone wants it thanks to "top gun"

  • Great video!

  • Good to see something about the Canadian Airforce :)

  • Thanks for the memories squish. checker checker

  • Wats the second song?

  • Creed- Higher

  • beautiful day - u2

  • cold lake alberta right? isnt that where jetstream was filmed?

  • yeah

  • hells yea

  • it wont let me post a link but just look up AERIALFOUNDRY and it should b there :P

  • heres the link for anyone who wants it

  • you guys are the CAF 4 Wing 441 Squadron "Silver Fox" Tactical Fighter Squadron right?

  • I play Microsoft Flight Simulator X and i purchased an addon of the CF-188 and CF-18B and ur sqaudron just happens to be in it :P which makes you kinda famous virtually :P

  • i dont think my comments were being added so ill make them in a series :P

  • how old are these jets? and what is their equivalent.

  • Maybe, 4 years? There modern jets.

  • Maybe not THESE, these are a little older.

  • Your so random man...

  • i work at mc donalds

  • Gotta love the F-18. I wish the forces would consider purchasing the F-18E super-Hornet instead of the F-35. Its a proven design unlike the F-35 and it costs way less. For the amount of money it takes to buy 65 F-35's, we could get around 80 F-18E's. I plan on joining the Air Force and hope to get selected for pilot.

  • I'm plannin' of joinin' the Forces as well.

  • sweeet

  • my brother is pilot

    support our troops

  • Im 17 and am almost finished my air cadets course and will be going into training for the RCAF in a few years :) Cant wait, and this video has inspired me to go all the way even more. I will be honoured to fly along side you guys.

  • Canada salutes you: 441th Tactical Fighter Sqaudron. I sure hope I get a job like yours one day. There is nothing that comes close to defending your country.

  • Canadian pilots are among the best in the world...Canadian team with F/A-18As wins top honors at William Tell. (Canadian Air Force team wins 1996 fighter competition at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida)

Now if only had some decent planes...any chance we could get some retired F-15's.

  • suporrt the canadian army

  • aww dang i wish they were F-22s, WE DON'T EVEN HAVE PANAVIA TORNADOS!

  • awesome:)

  • WHEE!! THANKS SO MUCH!

This just increases the reasons why I would LOVE to join the canadian military.

My sister, Father, Aunts and Uncles, and Cousins are all in the military. All of which says I should join in too.

And when I get in, i'm gonna train to be a jet pilot, so I can fly the F-18's.

btw, PERFECT Song for the Video

  • Me to.I watch this video every day and say "That will be me in 7 years"

  • What grade are you in school?

    I'm currently in grade 11...

    Anyway, GOod luck PresidentClinton15!

  • Thanks.I'm in grade 11 too.So i might see you there

  • sweetness, what's your IRL name?

  • but dude~ Canada is getting F35 to take over F18 lately~` huh~ yea, u can enjoy more\~

  • Yeah, me too. Even though I'm only 13 I have plans to become a military pilot, and to fly with the Snowbirds!

  • thats sweet dude... first thing i did when i turned 18 was sign up for the royal Canadian airforce.

then moved to cold lake alberta to train.

i turned 18 on the 11th of september

  • fail.

our air force is trained amazingly.

it just dosent get the money it needs

  • lol dude, i'm in the complete opposite position that you're in. i'm in the infantry right now, and i'll be transferring into the airforce pretty soon lol

  • Great video! Congratulations

  • well if the main concern is that the f35 has only one engine, they should consider the MiG-35, Su-47, or Su-35BM

  • hey to fly the cf 18 hornet you have to go in to so much bullshit and they can say that you can't fly becasue we dont have alot of fighters so go fuck your self dumb cock face with a two by four up your asshole

    p.s poop

  • mna in 4 years i will be at cold lake hoplyand thjey will have the new jetsin

  • I'll be there in 7 years.so i might see u there

  • oh they will for the right price look atthe 80's saudi's bought the F-16 and F-15's like hot cakes at a time the usa was in a fuel shortage jordan, iraq etc all the oil countrys ..and the germans and french will buy into the eurofighter before they buy the x75 I would love to get my hands on a f-22

  • Canada won't see the f-35 for another aleast 15 years were not a attack country more on defence and nato role we have no carriers since the 50's and even then they used prop planes

  • i agree besides the US isn't going to let any Joint strike fighters such as the JSF-X75 lightning 2 go to any other countries besides our allies

  • if Canada gets the F-35, will they get the VTOL verson, or just the normal version with no VTOL or Carrier modifications?
