Why is this game so unknown? and when people do know it "it's no where near as realistic as CoD" Er? Hello! games are supposed to be non-realistic it's why they're called games! nothing like blowing people to bits and doing a little dance when you've won the match.

Because it is old. I just started again after playing every day from 199-2005. My skills are not what they used to be but it's just loads of fun any way you look at it. Even if u die = 1 second and ur good to go again :)

@Betorockmetal Download Modplug player import files from the game folder click save wav it will convert it to wav however long you want it. Then use iTunes or FormatFactory to convert to mp3

Aww man , I really miss the UT99 days.

Not only did the games have that unique oldies atmosphere , but the .mod music has a unique sound that you can't replace with your fancy MP3s...

I actually feel sad playing this and then playing something like CoD , because it's showing really how games have stopped advancing and stopped becoming fun..

I tell the young ones today that back in my day there were two main schools of first person shooters. I.e. Unreal Tournament and Quake 3. These schools made us the gamers we are today. I also tell them how damn proud and lucky I am that I was in the Unreal Tournament school. Best FPS ever!

So, I just went on a Soulseek spree and downloaded every single UT track. I'm definitely going to playlist that for every shooter I ever play instead of whatever nonsensical music comes with those other non-UT games! This stuff is pure, nostalgic awesomeness.

I have a copy of the Original Unreal Tournament. Heck you can buy it off steam for 9 dollars now last time I checked. This song is IN THE GAME. I made a lot of custom levels for it back in the day and used this song a few times from the games own files. UnrealEd is still perhaps the greatest level editor I have seen to date, and for a game I really enjoyed.

Arcane Temple is actually a Nali temple which was taken of by the Skaarj.
