It's true what they say about bloggers. I was trained traditionally in journalism, but more and more it's the average curious citizen with a notepad and a camera who's going out there and bringing to light the real news that the mainstream media is afraid to touch. Although blogs vary in legitimacy and quality it's still been nothing less than a true revolution in journalism.

I'd like to see AlJazeera explore racial problems in Iran, Turkey, or Egypt. I watch AlJazeera every day and I see lots of criticism of America but never ever Iran, Turkey or Egypt. They won't do it. America talks on and on about race problems and news media cover it but nothing gets done about American racial problems. Talk is cheap. Other countries don't talk about their race problems and don't do anything about them either.

AlJazeera was the 1st site I subscribed to. The news Organization report news "NEWS" from around the world - believe this - Aljazeera is not the cause of America white folk in Ohio looking like dumb racist hicks - Ohio is the cause - those white folk could not help it - they are so hateful - they couldnt control it. I have to say - that was not the real America - They should have shown more diverse opinions.

Are you jesting? The Race matter has been reported in ad nausium in the US media. They have not rebuked the negative connotation of the words Muslim and Arab. They encourage the notion of Arabs and Muslims as being 'lesser than dirt'.

One the one hand, reporting is always selective, since you simply cannot show all the material you have. Of course you want to show, what you think is most interesting/important to see and no one can blame you for that.

It is problematic, if you go to the site and already have in mind, what you are going to produce.

AlJazeera's reporter said they didn't interview 300 people to get these comments, but nevertheless it would have been interesting to me, *how* many it took exactly.

I really wish there was Aljazeera on American TV. It's a shame that I have to log onto youtube in order to get news about real issues. All of the major news outlets are extremely biased and very commercialized.
