cont.I know a little bit about a lot of things.Coffee culture is both middle eastern and Italian, the French less so. The French adopt anything that is Italian as long as it is diplomatic-clears his throat: when music is adapted to a moving picture, still photo, art work (canvass) it takes some critical thinking. There is a lot of Italian music that springs to mind that matches the espresso and coffee symbol. Next step from that would be Latino music. Coffee is a big part of Latino culture..
What is the relationship between Turkish music and Italian coffee? Culture crash, not culture clash..Why not Italian music? And don't give me the same traditional stereotype peasant ballad as representative of Italian culture. Do your home work please.
@Johnnystrychnine WOW you don't know the answer to your own criticism ?
Maybe it bears a relationship back to trade with Turkey via the middle east which were the first coffee traders that brought coffee to Venice/Milan. So having Turkish music at the very start of this video is completely fine by me, as coffee heritage is shared thanks to the Ottoman trade routes. St Ali is the patron saint of coffee in Italy also, if you care to know...
I like the video especially about the history, and it reminds me of a one off show that Channel 10 did a while back.
Pity about the end though. That extraction is too fast and underextracted. Crema too light instead of honey golden that is the norm in a proper Melbourne cafe. :)
