  • Just turn rotate off..

no need make a issue of it.....

  • noob ;P

  • Or, you could own a pc, and NEVER have that problem

  • yeah i know... PCs sucks -.-

  • yeah i know... macs sucks -.-

  • Turn "Rotate" and "Zoom" OFF IN SYSTEM PREFRENCES!

  • I love the track pad in every way!!! Wish it was MORE sensitive. Cs4 works flawless with this track pad!

  • This error also happens to me using mouse... only in Photoshop! (Windows 7)... any solution?

  • I know, how about you all try using a mouse on a train or a plane. Then come back to be.

  • I 100% agree with you, same problems, I have to edit images a lot on the road in airports, in hotel rooms, and don't always feel like plugging a mouse in. I have no problems PSing with the trackpad. The rotate canvas feature is useless eye candy. Wish you could disable it.

  • I've been having this same problem. Everyone's saying "get a mouse". I do everything with the trackpad and I love it. It works for me. I had a mouse for a while and I ended up always going back to the trackpad. And I do lots of intensive photoshop and illustrator stuff.

  • keep that thumb off the track pad and get a mouse

  • dude macbook's r great but that trackpad is not meant for gaming or photoshop, get a freakin mouse

  • somebody needs a mouse!!!...

  • What kind of idiot does intense photo editing with any kind of trackpad?

    A MOUSE. GET A MOUSE.

  • @XxMsrSzprzxX

The combination of a TrackPad + a tablet wacom is very superior of a simple mouse. He is not a idiot, this is the necessity of a photo editing pro

  • Gee... I don't know... GET A MOUSE???

  • @Nikkusama15 Wow, how long did that take you to come up with?

  • ummm... don't put your thumb on the track pad

  • go to system prefrences, keyboard and mouse, trackpad and click on the box next to scroll, rotate etc. that should stop it, or just keep ur thumb away, i manage perfectly fine in cs4 using the trickpad.

  • To solve the problem simply google for "optional trackpad" and pick the first result (JNack@Adobe).

  • Personally I'm not comfortable with the trackpads when doing some photo editing. I prefer to use a mouse

  • I never use the trackpads. I have a little nice mouse that I take it with me. No matter what kind of trackpads there I can't use them. Very rarely, I use the trackpad. Who uses trackpads to design or create something? I wouldn't use the trackpad when working on PS, or such programs.

  • Scott i just registered on YouTube just to ask if you ever found out what to do with this fkn problem. i really cannot stand it any longer. the help file in Photoshop tells you to go to settings that don't even exist in the System Preferences, nice one Adobe!

would really appreciate help. goin nuts here ffs.

  • Hmm i dont have a mac but maybe go into settings and turn off this?? :\

  • There are no settings to stop it :/

I downgraded to CS3 because of it. :(

  • is this the new aluminium macbook??

  • did you ever mind to buy a mouse maybe???

  • lmao!!!!!

  • Hey Scott, you can manually take of the multitouch function under system preferences while under PSCS4.

  • MMmmm......Volvo R

I had one of them, hated the road noise so I sold it........totally hot car though.

  • You need a design tablet.

  • you can get a wireless mouse from best buy or walmart for like 10-20 $

  • Agree

I suggest you to get a mighty mouse

or maybe(if you don't like the mighty mouse's feeling coz I doesn't have a "button"), try belkin mouses... the ones with the buttons at their sides...

    hope this helps!

  • I've got a mighty mouse and it has a right click. The Mac mouse seem like they dont do much but once you open up the system preference you can set your mouse to do alot of things. It has invisible keys. I set my right click up like a PC to do things like copy and paste and other things, my left click for normal, the ballto make it bring out widgits. the sides do many as well. THE MIGHTY MOUSE HAS LOT TO OFFER.

  • Yeah. But I need to save for iWork and iLife...

My mom only agreed that she'll buy me a mac and an Windows XP Home Edition SP2...

  • What, I'm not understanding your issue. My last comment was just to adress that the Mac mouse has a invisible right click and 4 other buttons as well. If anything you should always get a Mac product with your Mac computer. I have iLife and it comes with many things.

  • I don't really have an issue...

I was just suggesting Emilio718 to go for the mighty mouse or any belkin mouse...

and at my 2nd comment, I agreed to your statement that the mighty mouse has a lot to offer. Then, I just inserted some details about me buying a mac laptop:)).

  • Oh ok good, if you can save up then you should get the MacBookPro. Those things are sweet, and now with the glossy glass display. Good luck buying yours and look into refurbished models as well, they are cheaper and do the same.

  • Yeah, but I'm still bothered by its "trackpad" and its glossy screen ( I wish a sticker-protector can remove glare!)

oh well, I'm going to buy mine this coming year after apple fixes the "trackpad"
