Americans for Prosperity is a conservative group, founded by a rich guy whose company runs oil refineries and pipelines. They want little government and a free market locally, state and federally. In other words businesses should be able to short-cut safety, pollution regs., health regs. to make as much profit as possible. Guys like these want to make as much money as possible for them, while giving their workers and the environment short shrift.

what does that have to do with cap and trade. the point of cap and trade is to shift us demand for gas.

hydrogen fuel cells will be safe when they truly hit the market.

and i'm a conservative. if you're a real conservative, you wouldn't be going around trying to impede changes that will reduce cost on overpriced goods. instead, you should stand behind laws that will reduce our demand on foreign oil, cut overhead for domestic business, and generate new industry at the same time.

Stop speculating. Your intuition is wrong. Climate changes actually increase the overhead for many business. Transportation cost has increased due to more intensive seasons, just to name one thing.

As temperatures continue to rise crop yields will begin to fail causing famine, water systems in developing areas are strained as droughts become more common, and eventually war and migration could cause massive casualties.
