According to the Punta Norte Orca Research site, the two orcas featured here are Jazmin, the adult female, and her calf Mela. This truly is a fantastic example of Mother Nature in action, not to mention a great Mother-daughter (if in the next 5-10 years the structure of Mela's fin doesn't grow tall like a male's) bonding moment!
